I have been discussing with multiple members of the community, we all like the idea of rapid grants. However, anything that does not require the vote of the community should have a much lower cap than $100K. (This comes from a discussion on the weekly terra bites telegram call).
For Rapid Grants, which are under the sole discretion of the Committee, the limit should be in the order of $1-10K. Anything else we should sacrifice some speed for higher scrutiny and democracy.
Perhaps, if the model works and the committee can show a high need for higher limits, we can increase the limit in the future. Otherwise, I do not think it is reasonable to start with $100K as a cap.
