In Canada, the government just invoked the war measures act (not used since ww2). Government stole 20m in donations meant to support the trucker convoy, a protest demanding back basic freedoms. Government is now freezing accounts who donated to the trucker convoy in personal or corporate accounts. The onslaught of government encroachment into our lives worldwide is accelerating.
UST has grown remarkably since inception. Now is the time for UST to proliferate cross chain. Thorchain is the only censorship resistant way to move cross chain with native assets. When government inevitably begins to encroach on crypto, Thorchain will be best positioned.
I propose the treasury takes 10m UST to seed the ust-rune pool and 10m$ luna to seed the luna-rune pool.
