A Sensible Decision-making Framework

Same problem, mate. Who’s going to do the corralling? Give it a try and see how it goes. I think you’ll find it would be easier to herd cats

What about if the New Luna is block 1 year, and you cant used it. Because i agreed. Anyone who received luna, is gonna run to sell to cut their losses, but if you received luna and it is block one year, you will know that is yours, and let time to rebuild the ecosistem again. Or give the luna and month by moth loose drop by drop of luna and see if the trust can be restored.

If you save ust I’m sure they will sell it not like saving luna people will wait you are destroying anything and exchanges will not accept this plan who will destroy new investors

Good old centralized forum moderating.

This isn’t the end-game my friend - this is just a step to make things less chaotic.

Probably better to try to separate the cats than let them continue to brawl in the yard.

Good luck with it. I’ll vote for you as chief moderator as soon as you get the voting mechanism in place.

Outta here, bye.

It is clear what will be done, to make an acceptable valuation per piece to the luna and master owners before the attack. eg: 30 dollars. After the attack, Luna and its top owners receive as many dollars as they invested. to distribute 900 million of the 1 billion units in the new supply in this way, even by airdrop. this is how to set the opening price of the new luna.

the interest is the same at all levels: make money

I bought 4800 luna, I don’t want it. I want new luna worth 4800 usd or more

Thank you for your suggestions and taking the time to type them up and post them here, very thoughtful and a step in the right direction.

How do you propose we start? There are many stakeholders, thousands of people, so how can we effectively and efficiently organize ourselves in this chaos?

Discord channels? Who can take this initiative?

Finally, what happens to the current proposals that have received >50%, are they going to be enforced and, if so, how will this change the status quo?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, Do does not seem to be taking leadership.

Do you remember Time? What a shitshow. But at least Daniel Sestagalli gave promise and made sure everyone got some amount of their tokens out, with some losses, but nevertheless, you were reciprocated.

I don’t see the same laser focus on making it here, which is extremely disappointing as I had a lot of trust in Do.

Indeed, Do’s behavior has been very disappointing and unprofessional to say the least. During times of crisis you need to show your face, communicate with stakeholders, explain what is happening, and advise on what people should do. As many have correctly said, his silence was deafening.
Had everyone understood that you don’t need to panic exit, we would arguably be in a better situation right now. It is what it is. We need to see how (and if) we can salvage something.

I am not advocating that he takes a leadership position going forward, but he should at least try to organize the community or have the right people organize us. As I mentioned, this post is a step in the right direction, but the challenge is how do we organize ourselves?

With the Go revival proposal of Luna.

This 1B new token supply to be distributed to Cex like Binance.

How will Binance fairly distribute it to those who bought below zero and after $1 Luna Price. I hope the distribution has to be fair enough because I am not selling right now my Luna. I don’t want to buy again and take a risk. I just want Luna to be revived and have my new tokens.

Tbh I have 1K luna and I bought during the attack when it was $29, $15 and $4.

I think you are correct. It’s a major problem. I don’t even understand how a negotiation mechanism is set in place. Apparently the largest Debt holders are a couple of large funds they owned most of the UST, there are a large number of smaller accounts which are more retail investors who have debt obligations. The Staking nodes I guess preferred equity, and then there is equity. Part of the problem may be that Terra and many layer 1 protocols are being presented as “Internet-States” essentially away to disintermediate the state from money. How would a negotiation go between a country with a large US debt obligation and no IMF to lay out terms ? Given that the peg broke and the experiment failed how to we come together to define various stakeholder groups to define the best solution ? I believe there was a proposal of reimbursing the smaller UST anchor accounts as many of the VC partners may have had most of the UST in anchor. How can we represent the smaller holders who may have no interest in the terra go forward plan and just want an exit and be made whole?

I would still love to see Do taking that role, actively. He may or may not continue, I don’t personally know the situation he is in right now.

This mess must have someone accountable. By that I mean someone should put his energy to resolve this, and set the path forward. And I still see @dokwon.terra in such a role.

I can imagine twitter spaces where options and specific cases would be explained. I believe @danku_r or @Cephii1 could actively lead this, not that they have to, but they are credible voices in the community.

@wlawyer , skimming this thread I agree with the ‘herding cats’ impression: rather than calling at the clowder of cats (which can’t decide anything) that they need to decide to separate themselves into groups, I suggest building the group spaces elsewhere, getting them started with some starting thoughts, recommending the location to people here, and thus being in a position to manage discussion according to your preferences as the more interested/motivated cats migrate to there, leaving others still mixed together in a clowder here. (Either that, or get into contact with a moderator here able to form similar groups directly.)

I suggest Discord, particularly as the Terra Discord is currently closed to new users, and the Categories structure lends itself well to having multiple channels for each of the different groups (e.g. within each group a channel for casual talk between all in the group, a channel for deciding leadership roles, and a channel where only those with leadership roles in that group can post, but everyone can read what they’re discussing).

If you try this, I wish you success.

YES!!!..BUT This needs to be more consumable by retail investors, as you can see from the comments. No one is reading this proposal.

I SUPPORT THIS PROPOSAL!!!

This should be by exchangers and calculate vía money lost Sou people who buy at 1 dólar lost everything and people who buy at 0.0001 are in profit.

I agree with this.

Please consider taking care of people who provide LP for Luna/UST on other ecosystems like Cosmos, Harmony, Avax, etc. We helped grow the ecosystem to other platforms which should not be forgotten. I personally bridged over the funds from Terra.

Thanks man.

I did this out of personal interest - I honestly don’t hold a large enough LUNA/UST bag to spend too much time on this; I have a full-time job!

I am hoping that a moderator implements this.
