'Jailed' RnodeC Validator what happens to my staked Luna?

Hi,

I had luna staked with a validator that has since shutdown their service (RnodeC). In Terra Station it showed the validator as being ‘jailed’. I could not find any help documentation for what that meant or which actions to take.

I decided to undelegate my staked luna from that validator. Terra station is now showing the luna being locked up for 21 days.

This does not seem appropriate. Why am I being punished for a validator that chose to stop their service ?

I found an answer to my question. One of the validators that’s shutting down wrote directions on how to redelegate staked luna:

Select a different validator → click on delegate → choose source and select the validator is shutting down → delegate your coins
