Who is Fatman?

Exactly, while he cares about ust victims, he doesn’t care about Luna victims

I can tell you there is nothing “normal and coincidental” about anyone who:

  • Gets 20,000 followers in less than a day on an establishment platform, especially a new random account posing as “anti-establishment” claiming DK must have friends in high places
  • Routinely switches between British and American English
  • Suddenly has Vitalik and other big names getting behind his proposals
  • Suddenly has whistleblowers and insiders spilling the beans to him
  • Creates proposals while someone in their circle “takes the rope”

This all looks like part of the ongoing attack on DK, Terraform and its investors and they are going for the kiII shot in my opinion to stop Terra 2.0 right before the fork, cause an abortion if you will.

These boards and Twitter are filled with TradFi trolls to establish the TradFi narrative and promote such “anonymous saviors.” None of the trolls are demanding an answer regarding how the KYCed attackers were allowed to violate the ToS of at least 3 major platforms to carry out their attack.

No way. He actually attacked SBF so that makes no sense

Nobody knows who he is but he made a good proposal here and many popular handles are interacting with him including DK.
We should wait to see if Fatman will clarify his posts with backing facts before drawing conslusions.
I feel at this point we should believe no one including DK.

Bro getting viral on twitter isn’t as difficult as you are making out, repeatedly. Like I said, his bogus proposal about saving UST got decent visibility here. Fatman and the people from this forum tweeted it. Hundreds and thousands of people ( if not millions ) including all the “big names” , have been following “terra luna crash” on twitter , reddit and multiple social media platforms. Easy to get viral in a sitation like this. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Good there is Fatman, USTs should get a refund for Luna 2 to succeed.

He was well known here long before the hack. Look at Do Con’s announcement of the fork proposal. Fatman was the first person to comment.

Saw All of this happening in reddit. Everything you described to an almost exact degree except is on reddit. The censorship if you didn’t write positive thing about the dex. Gut wrenching disgusting. Truth hurts.
not seen on twitter itself, over on this forum allow but implement slow mode.

Well, you can’t really tell us that. You can suggest it might be the case. All I can see here is conjecture based on some rather loose points.

Gets 20,000 followers in less than a day on an establishment platform, especially a new random account posing as “anti-establishment” claiming DK must have friends in high places
How unlikely considering the amount of people affected? FatMan is a voice many are attaching hope to. And the sheer volume of crypto enthusiasts alone that are aware of events? “I’ll follow that guy, just to keep abreast of Crypto’s hot topic!” Can you show such a number is impossible considering the above?

Routinely switches between British and American English
I proposed one potential reason for this above. Do you believe that’s absolutely not a possible explanation?

Suddenly has Vitalik and other big names getting behind his proposals
Can you elaborate on why this is a negative?

Suddenly has whistleblowers and insiders spilling the beans to him
Asssuming they exist. Now that a reasoned voice has appeared claiming to be anti-establishment and the ‘voice of the people’ (he seems to confirm that title with such a following), and with backing that includes big names in Crypto, who else would they approach?

Creates proposals while someone in their circle “takes the rope”
I don’t follow. Are you suggesting he would be unable to form a proposal due to (and, should, having been in…) grief? I can’t get behind that assumption. I have seen many people moved to action in similar circumstances.

Beyond acknowledging the speed of FatMan’s rise to ‘Champion of the People’, and a potential dislike of Twitter policy do you have any other motivation to form these views? Just trying to help qualify some of this. I’m not against you sharing your opinion of course.

@Fanatec1
Actually, if you’re “taking on the establishment” like Fatman claims, it is impossible to go viral. Remember Jeffrey Epstein which was 1,000x bigger than this? Know how many accounts were censored, deleted, and prevented from going viral? Know that if you created any new account related to exposing his crimes or even a parody, it would be immediately locked by Twitter?

@Wubbajack Well known long before the hack? His account was created within last 2 weeks. Do Kwon’s fork proposal was created within the last week. So he was well known for 2 weeks? Wow.

@digital
What is going on is extremely sick and a twisted attack on actual Defi that continues to this day.

@Cryptofinger

  1. See point about Epstein above. If you do anything to expose people in power, Twitter acts quickly to shut you down. I speak from experience, not “conjecture.”

  2. Fatman claimed he was one normal person, not representing a "team of people. So is he misrepresenting himself?

  3. Never happens to people “with no power and connections,” especially anyone taking on people in positions of high power.

  4. A reasoned voice doing everything to deflect attention from the KYCed attackers, right?

Regarding all the profiles totally ignoring the attackers and demanding DK and Terra’s head, this would be the equivalent of a nation coming under a surprise nuclear attack, then saying as long as the leadership of the country pays reparations and is imprisoned, we the people are okay with coming under a nuclear attack, and totally disregarding the fact they were attacked.

This is very correct and not to trash the intelligence narrative. Might not be an alphabet, but could be a whale accumulating info. First mover advantage.

  • Viral. You can say the same when @morpheus9 posted a poll. It went viral and ended up in all the major crypto news channels.

  • Twitter. They recently relaxed their algos, because of the Musk takeover. Research it.

  • PTSD trauma raises your adrenaline during your fight or flight, and during this time, you have razor focus, abundance of energy, and don’t need to eat for days as the body is working off fat reserves. Ask any soldier. [Fatman may have plenty of reserves.]

  • British and English. Anyone growing up or spending a lot of time around the Brits will absorb their lexicon. When I went on cruises for more than a week, when I came back, people asked me if I was British. Bet you a pint that he’s not speaking the Queen’s English, so don’t get knackered about it. [Could also mean an investment bank type figure in GB or offshore island.]

We live in a quantum mechanics reality based on infinity. You won’t know the status of the cat until it is observed. Anything is possible.

excellent

He is still getting 30 new followers per minute, 1,800 per hour on the dot for almost 9 hours straight. Nothing glowing there. Full on attack to come soon.

Who is Fatman?

Fatman could easily be a pseudonym/euphemism that really is saying Whale, Fat Wallet, Large Player.

SBF fits almost all the points I made in my previous post, and this is before I learned SBF might be a player here. Even my point about physics. See, infinity.

Potential Bidding war!

Right now, it looks like Binance and a few other CEXs are on the hook for UST through their aggressive marketing. This could mean a bidding war should a whale make a play for Terra.

Think about it. If UST inflates, and people seek a legal recourse, some of these CEXs could be on the hook for BILLIONS. Right now, the best many of these CEXs can do is settle ASAP while they can. In one way or another. [The Brazilian Exchange figured this out already.]

IMO: Keep this machine frozen until a real team takes it over.

Big talker, you are.

How’s this for “taking on the establishment on Twitter, and getting censored”?

Note to LUNA/UST people who may support my position: Please DO NOT post on the Tor forum about this. It’s a small forum by a nonprofit, with overloaded moderation staff. Terra issues are off-topic there; the topic there is Twitter’s treatment of onion users, an issue deeply important to me as a longtime, [CENSORED*] Tor user.

I have kept as tightly focused on that topic as I reasonably can in the circumstance. You probably don’t have anything to add, unless you are a Twitter onion user yourself—in which case, your experiences with Twitter onion usage are important information for assessing the scope of the problem. Feel free to email me (address and PGP key are on my website), as I am trying to put something together for Twitter onion users separately from my Terra-related activities.

If you want to make your voice heard about the suppression of my tweets about Terra, then please speak up about it on Twitter, on other social media, and on independent websites!

Independently of Twitter, I will soon release the full content of the tweets that have been suppressed since May 17.

My Twitter account is still shadowbanned, or maybe bizarrely semi-shadowbanned. I just noticed that some tweets that were previously invisible to the public are now showing up; others are not. Here is a current snapshot. Well, I guess it is an improvement from the previous snapshot. Yes, I reported that spammer!

Fighting Twitter’s censorship has cost me endless hours behind the scenes here. It has been time that I could not afford, fighting to get out an urgent response to rapidly developing events.

(*) I used the below forbidden word in this context: “d##-hard Tor user”. Germans will be in a world of hurt, if this particular string of characters is censored regardless of context or semantics.

LOL. I myself so frequently switch between British and American spelling (and punctuation patterns—and regional slang), I can never quite remember whether 4 July is the day when domestic terrorists declared open sedition after a series of violent attacks on government officials, or the day when men of honour took a valiant stand against tyranny.

I am most likely a cypherpunk, who has been doing anonymity for awhile. Changing one’s dialectical patterns is easy. It would be especially easy for a literate non-native English speaker, who would not have long-ingrained habits on either side.

(And regardless of who or where I am, I think that the Americans would be much better off with King George III than with what they have subsequently made for themselves! Zing!)

@yd19, in your quest to deflect from what the Terra establishment is doing, you are way overreaching in your attempts at the “anti-establishment” charade. Too bad for you: I am here to call you on that.

Yup. Overreaching. Are you aware that Epstein already had a bad end? I think it’s a bit improbable that intelligence agents are gathering on his erstwhile island to lead Twitter campaigns against Terra.

From your overall post history, it’s as if you are taking a list of things that you’ve seen “anti-establishment” types talk about, mashing them together, then throwing it all at the wall to see what sticks.

Stop spinning nonsense to grant Do Kwon’s centralized network and corrupted stake operators an aura of nobility they have proved they don’t deserve. It’s disgusting. And it’s above your pay-grade.

LOL. So “anti-establishment”, you are.

That’s why the Korean police are moving in on the LFG for embezzlement. No wonder Do Kwon filed paperwork for moving to Singapore.

The reference to Epstein Island was sarcasm that went way over your head, to insinuate the kind of people we’re dealing with regarding attackers. Are you aware that Epstein was a tiny piece in part of a much larger global child trafficking network and his partner Maxwell is currently in prison and his other associates also met “unfortunate deaths.” Since what Jeffrey Epstein and his network (which remains at large 3 years later, Prince Andrew among them) did is 1 million times worse than what you’re accusing Terra of, and we know he had ties to British Royalty, American politicians, and celebrities why not go on Twitter yourself and try to highlight his crimes if it’s so easy?

And why are you so against going after attackers who were moving billions of $ to attack Luna?

He has 37.1k followers now.

Yes, they have been adding 30 “followers” per minute, 1,800 per hour in a fairly linear fashion since I first posted. Very “organic” growth. As I predicted earlier, Glowman would wake up with between 30-40k followers who would then retweet to spread rumors like wildfire. Some things are just too predictable these days.
