So we will not be maintaining a historic price feed. But we will be implementing a feature that tracks USD value of trades when one asset in the trade is UST. This will also work for LP transactions to track cost baises of the LP . This will help in most cases .
Update:
We’ve have been working tirelessly to improve our parser support. In addition to what has been outlined in our milestones we have added support for prism, mars, fields of mars , edge protocol, glow, loterra, anchor liquidation queues, as well as minimal support for NFT marketplaces and other protocols such as starterra, luart and kujira .
We’ve had a minor deviation from our original milestone and will not be developing a UI for protocol support , due to multiple reasons around portability and due to the deep complexity and lack of standardization in some protocols. Protocol classier support is done via yaml files and is quite intuitive you can see our current classifiers here trackterra-api/protocols at main · trackterraorg/trackterra-api · GitHub and parsers can be found here trackterra-api/libs/parser/src/parser/processers at main · trackterraorg/trackterra-api · GitHub
We are currently focused on wrapping up our milestones and will be releasing documentation that covers protocol support as well as deployment. We will also be releasing a docker container that eases the deployment process of trackterra for parties who are interested in self hosting.
We are currently in talks with two crypto tax software providers in regards to an api integration and will support them in deploying their own self hosted trackterra instances.
As of right now we are focused on wrapping current milestones and will not be adding to our scope in the immediate term . However we do plan to build out additional features /export support in the future.
I should also add our code is quite portable and if anyone has a need/interest for a terra transaction parser i’d recommend checking out our public repos.
We will provide another update once our documentation is live.
Another update – We are wrapping up the outlined TrackTerra milestones and are now withdrawing from our multisig wallet to compensate our developer and expense and allocate funds towards our hosting costs.
As our grant has appreciated due to funds being held in luna we will be compensating our dev 10,000$ in addition to milestone payments due to the amount of work he put in to the project working on functionality and features that weren’t outlined in the original proposal.
As I am a relatively neutral party and not accepting any sort compensation for my time or involvement in this project I think am in a position to make this judgment fairly. I have personally worked with Rebaz almost daily for two months and can attest to his hard work and that he has put way more hours/days than outlined in our original milestones and this shows in the functionality that we have delivered.
This includes additional protocol parser support, a streamlined deployment process , and various ui and backend features that make trackterra more usable for our users.
We will also be using these funds to secure hosting for two years including a dedicated LCD and FCD node.
Outline of hosting costs :
We are hosting 3 bare metal servers with hetzner – 2 of these servers are in production 1 of these servers is being built to resync fcd against col-4 to resolve a long standing issue with FCD where some col-4 data is missing , we will also temporarily have a 4th server to host the col-4 node . As our in production FCD is built using a database backup from TFL it is affected by this issue. This impacts some wallets in the march -april 2021 timeframe. When all is said and done we will be running 2 FCDs and one LCD.
These 3 servers come out to 220.30 USD per month
We also paid 129$ in setup costs
Our frontend is hosted on digitalocean and that costs us 58$ per month.
In total I’ve spent out of pocket 586.74$ USD on infrastructure on hetzner since January and about 58$ on digitalocean .
In order to secure hosting for 2 years and to cover our current out of pocket expenses(644.74$) and our future expected costs to temporarily run a col-4 node(400$) in total we are allocating $7716.74 to secure hosting (frontend + lcd +fcdx2) for two years.
Developer costs
We will be releasing 38,800 $ to our developer to pay him for milestone 1 , 2, 3 deliverables + 10,000$ to cover the additional work that has gone in to polishing our released product.
To conclude our current milestones and secure funding for hosting we have made two transactions against our multisig wallet. These transactions can be viewed here and have been converted from luna to USD at the time the transfer was made.
38,800 (418 luna)

$7716.74 (83.5 luna)

Our multisig holds remaining fund of 539.5 luna and over the coming weeks we will outline additional milestones to further expand our functionality that will be billed against our multisig.
As our team has been putting 10+ hour days most days this month, we’re going to take a couple weeks off and will back in early April with a follow up milestones to add additional CSV formats , address any outstanding bugs , and add support additional protocols where needed.

Hey @Papi
I just want to say thank you for your time and dedication to delivering the product you promised to the Terra community in a fair and transparent way. I really appreciate the very detailed outline of future costs as well as the accounting of the depletion of the funds you took in. I’m very much appreciative of you considering how dismal some of the other projects funded by the community pool have been in their responsiveness and production of what was paid for.
At this point I consider TrackTerra a total community funded success! Congratulations! Thank you TrackTerra team so much!
This is a huge value add to the community, these parsers will really help others get started building out more advanced indexing. I also hope it spurs a conversation on how to standardize smart contract outputs.
Update: We are moving forward with another sprint to support 4 new export formats and spend time addressing a few bugs that were recently reported.
Time will be billed at hourly rate and we will revise spend before issuing funds from our multisig. Proposal considers worst case scenario for development effort.
We’re also increasing the pay of our developer to 100 per hour to account for the skill level and lack of full time work moving forward.
See below :
This milestone is complete . We went a bit over the on inital estimated time here as we spent additional hours on bug fixes but will be paying out funds based on initial estimates. You can view our recent commits here Commits · trackterraorg/trackterra-api · GitHub these changes are now live in the app.
50.32 luna will be dispersed from the multisig.
Amazing, thank you for the update.
We are moving forward with another update - in this update we will be refactoring and updating the design of trackterra to make it easier to contribute and self deploy (without docker) . See below.
This update is now live. Github docs have been updated to reflect the new deployment process. You can view the changes here GitHub - trackterraorg/trackterra-api
Funds will shortly be dispersed from multisig.
