Joint L1 Task Force Q2

Bruh, please do your best to stay on topic and have a constructive discussion.

please?

Just got done listening to HCC’s live with LBA (AKA ā€œSteveā€). Was a great listen :ear:

Thanks for clearing things up & listening to community, you’re a great person to go through all that and keep going.

Though it’s sad to see Tobias leaving. I believe these things just show you how committed a person is and builds trust.

And trust, you got (from me)

Will be here to support you :+1:t3:

Thank you LBA and HCC for the great and professional ama today.

I have first hand seen a situation when the manager(team leader) quit and the result was 20% decrease of productivity ( of the same team) followed by 60% loss of customers.

We will see how delaying parity affects us soon.

To adress some of the comments i would just want to add this, ā€œI know someone that can do it cheaper memeā€:

Good luck and hopefully a solution is found soon so we can get to parity which IMO is the most important thing currently.

The tactic you are trying to use is all clear! You and the members of your coop have been on the attack for weeks. There have been attacks on Ed, LBA and Tobias. The aim is to get rid of the top team members so that you can try to achieve your underlying goal. Your ego is your problem. Stop creating chaos in the LUNC community. LBA is a professional in the industry. You have no idea about the role of a project manager, yet you continue to lambast LBA about his position. @Zaradar should have blocked all those people before. LBA as the project manager should have been the one that questions should be thrown at; not Z. And honestly LBA should ignore comments from rabble-rousers.Now the question is asked of @Bilbo if he can do the job of LBA for free. We are not running a tuck shop. The L1 team has delivered a lot. We were updated a lot. The community was happy with the L1 team until certain elements of the community threw a monkey wrench in the team’s project. Is this how we will continue ? Excellent developers will not come to this chain. We are driving them away. Yes , Z has decided to leave the team . I can vouch that the community will welcome LBA and his team, if he comes up with a revised proposal that the community agrees on. We are tired of the drama! The lunc chain is not attracting investors because of the nonsense that’s going on in our community. Peanut payments for a team will definitely result in peanut results. Let’s rally around the L1 team with an L1 developer to replace Z. It’s just sad that Z has decided to leave. Z as senior developer was training junior devs. That is one of his roles. To question the reasonable salary for a senior L1 developer is beyond my limited intelligence.

@Zaradar I wish you could stay. Real doxxed people like you. We dont want avatars dictating to the community the direction. we should go.

If anyone wants to be the face of the LUNC community they need to show their face.

No one seems to have posted this yet so I will.
The following is a link to last nights Happy Catty Crypto podcast with the LuncBurnArmy project manager.
It provides valuable insight into the L1TF plans to respond positively to the constructive community feedback on proposal 11432 - Joint L1 Task Force Q2.

You call it an attack on the ā€œtop team membersā€, I think others in the community that agree with Rabbi that the current team under delivered the content they presented in Q1, while some presented on the team DID do the work, your main dev idol Zaradar spent the time making non L1 related items, like the useless ā€œDojoā€, all that time spent on twitter and making the dojo, could have been spent bringing parity for Q1, which was not delivered even when it was one of the main goals everyone was looking for, I can see Rabbis goal is to bring actual experienced devs to bring the chain up to speed.

professional or not, $7k a month for pretty much managing a 3 person team is ridiculous, that position brings ZERO to the table when it comes to developing and coding, if it was managing 50+ members it would be understandable because there will be more data to to help communicate, but I find it hard to believe you need a project manager to manage 3 people that could easily coordinate among each other.
also, all the questions directed to LBA have been deflected many of times, most of the community is tired of it.

there are already many excellent developers in the community already, or do you think the ones in the community aren’t excellent or worthy enough because they aren’t idolized like Zaradar? want to know what brings more to this chain? PROGRESS.
you are indirectly saying we won’t progress with out Zaradar, we have already multiple developers that are eager and willing to help and develop, why push them aside? because they aren’t idolized and big named?

again, you are glorifying Zaradar and putting him up on a pedestal, also Zaradar was not paid from the community to train junior devs, he was paid to focus on LUNC L1 development, creating wikis(Dojo) was never part of the Q1.
it’s also a slap in the face of experienced developers in the face saying they will produce bad results because of a lowered pay, when you say it like that, it feels you come from a place of privilege, as if you only go for the name brand items compared to the non name brand that is just as equally good, we do not have a huge pool to be throwing money around.

yes, questioning a developers salary for what they produced is not mind boggling, his wiki-dojo was never mentioned in the Q1, yet in Q2 it’s now being shoehorned in because it was being worked on during the Q1 time. you don’t need great intelligence to see that.

that is up to the individual if they wish to doxx themselves or not, what the most important thing they do is provide what they have been tasked to do by the community, results is what drives the community.

Very good point sir. We should respect the developer’s right to privacy. The fans need to move on from idolizing Zaradar. Zaradar is the past.
New devs, new progress. This is how LUNC becomes functional and will add immense value to LUNC Holders and other stakeholders in the blockchain ecosystem.

Facts

  1. Vinh is encouraging Z to say
  2. We have people who wants to create chaos
  3. The L1 team that delivered is being destroyed for selfish reasons

There are reasons why some deliverables were still on the table. For instance, the team
was side tracked into creating the wallet for binance-otherwise we would have lost the support of binance. The team returned some money to the CP

  1. Most validators rejected the proposal based on a few things
  2. Rejecting a proposal does not mean that the community at large does not want the team.
  3. LBA is a professional Project manager-He did well
  4. Bad players were slandering Z. I guess you would fight back if it were you. We are humans. @RabbiJebediah uses every opportunity he gets to lambast anyone that opposes his views. Imagine if it was some work that he had done.

Ask vinh about the role LBA played and why he is important in the team,

We are talking about attracting L1 developers and paying them peanut salaries. A slippery road to take.

Fair enough and hence that is why it is important that we need a Project manager and a central body so devs can be held accountable.

Smash the proposal

I’ll help you on those:

  1. Rabbi flipped Alex’s multisig discussion into a series of proposal that hijacked the assets to TR or CP and tried to silence Alex.
  2. Rabbi was in favour of the rise in seigniorage that ended up with a lot of validators and Binance stopping voluntary burns.
  3. Rabbi came up with a proposals targeting @Jagmot-Allnodes - cap the VP at 10% and tombstone their client base.
  4. Rabbi flipped LBA Q2 into a couple of proposals (more to come?!?) with the help of @arunadaybasu (I know you were in the dark when you did it Aru) that drove Zaradar away and are jeopardizing LUNC ecosystem development by enlisting unknown devs for the job.

Now I ask, Who is being harmful? Ed, who took the burden to develop the chain even further and brought Binance back to the table ?!? Alex, that came up with a plan and was demonized by the word ā€œmintingā€ ?!? Z, who came up with an alternate repeg with no minting, and boarded with Ed on the L1 development? Or Rabbi, that tries to manipulate the community creating chaos, that constantly attacks others to the point they leave the chain, and that NEVER came up with a plan to further the development of the chain?!?

I don’t flag people’s posts, I’m against censorship. :man_shrugging:

Woh woh woh … what kinda accusation was that?

My opinions here have been based on previous experience with funding other teams, like TR and TGF, both of which had already taken money to do less work than required.

That is why I had to apply as much scrutiny as possible this time cause the community complained about not being strict with development teams last time. This is why I had to say what I did cause the community said that the technical people never put their foot down and that’s why the previous teams got funded like that. So it was for the community, not for Rabbi.

I just fixed the css of the dollar bubble on Rebel Station wallet page and submitted a PR for it to the GitHub repo of TR. If you wanna know what relationship I share with TR, you can ask the others here. I have threatened them of litigation also. It’s literally there in my proposal which is in discussion right now here at Agora.

I will only do what is right for the community, keeping my personal ego and feelings aside.

dude sorry, you commented too much, if you are indeed a developer and your country is crypto friendly why don’t you just focus on your trading bot proposal, maybe binance can accept your idea, didn’t your proposal not pass the voting, and you manystated that you do not hold lunc you are only a trader, why do you always interfere with all proposals in this community, while you yourself do not hold lunc only as a trader.
