Joint L1 Task Force Q2

My opinion happens to be correct. Go ahead, pay them for things they didn’t deliver…

No one asked for Tobias’s crappy Dojo, or Ed’s AI chain, or the Senate, or the recent worthless moneygrab in the form of a spending prop for lawyers to cover TGF’s ass… or the mountain of other shit they keep coming up with constantly. They do everything they can to avoid working on LUNC! It’s the main reason why most of the stuff they promised for Q1 either wasn’t delivered, or shipped in a buggy state. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Lemme make this very simple, because some of you seem incapable of grasping the issue here…

Here’s who should be getting paid: Superman, Frag, Vinh :+1: :+1: :+1:

Here’s who should not be getting paid: Tobias, Marco, LuncBurnArmy :-1: :-1: :-1:

I’ve got no beef with Ed because he was fair enough to step away to focus on his AI chain, and isn’t directly asking for money anymore. It’s the other scamming cretins I’ve listed above that I take umbrage with, since they’re the ones trying to leech CP money while providing 0 value to the community!

I’m not against paying developers fair wages for delivered work. I hold LUNC and USTC, I want both to go up in value. But we need to stop blindly worshipping people who keep lying to us! When is enough enough? How many broken promises and pointless feature creep do we need to go through before we finally eject these grifters from the community? Don’t trust - verify! Look at what people do, not what they say, or you’ll keep on getting taken by smooth talkers who promise the world but deliver dust and disappointment. :rage:

I want all of us to make it, but for that to happen we need capable and trustworthy developers.

What we don’t need are lying hacks who take community money to pad their own pockets.

Shalom!

Why does it seem like the opposite to us? :man_shrugging:

Why not? You can open a topic for discussion. We would like to discuss the roadmap and your projects.

We didn’t know you had money, sorry :joy: :troll:

I don’t see it the way you see it. Everything is fine and we keep moving forward. I’m sorry to disappoint you on this.

I’d sacrifice a month’s worth of lunch if necessary for a yes vote. You can also contribute a little to this offer. :construction_worker_man: :man_health_worker:

If what you say is true, let’s not bother, give your prophecies so we can all be rich :joy:

very simple; you have no solution.

merge

I don’t trust Tobias after he merged his PRs on GitHub and talked about how much he wants Do Kwon back and to merge Luna2 with Lunc.
I don’t trust that guy. And other people who are not developers shouldn’t be taking money either. TGF is a bad group now even worse than TR.
No with veto from me!

Haters gonna hate, looks good to me. Roll that mfkr down the hill already and let’s get developing so these L2 can start to build properly… also glad to see the proposed idea of “classic station” and an on ramp integration. Definitely looking forward to an innovative future if this keeps up. You will learn so much just on the path of tempting a repeg which all knowledge is useful knowledge as early as we are in adoption of crypto… like the old saying goes “everything happens for a reason”… Regardless this is a positive path with positive intention so I’m positivity with it, let’s ride.

Why is it being mentioned then?

And why should the LUNC community “lend” their L1 devs – who are being paid from LUNC’s CP! – to a side project that’s a private enterprise by an ex-developer who clearly left the L1 team by his own admission? I’m not hating on Ed, I just want to know why y’all are trying to intermingle our funds and developers for what’s obviously a new start-up/spin-off that none of us bought into when we purchased LUNC tokens. Almost like you’ve been planning this all along… :rage:

I’ve heard the spiel about the AI chain being “good for LUNC”, but honestly I don’t give a shit about that. If it turns into a valuable project then that’s great, I hope Ed hits a goldmine with it. But he needs to bootstrap it without tapping into LUNC’s CP or its community/liquidity/assets/developers, otherwise it’s basically vamping on LUNC and its assets.

Honestly, the scummy gaslighting bullshit y’all pull on a monthly basis would be more than enough to terminate you at any sane startup. You’re lucky this community is full of sheep who can’t parse simple English so you get away with most of the crap you try to push through.

Fucking disgusting, you should be ashamed of acting like parasites.

Hello, maybe it will be a silly thought and question. :joy:

When Binance stopped the burns, it said it could fund the developer team if needed. Any progress on this? :star_struck:

Thank you for all your work and good luck. It’s your team that connects me to this project. The layer 2 developer team and your efforts to bring a technology such as artificial intelligence back to a project that lost its technology made us very happy.

When I see some bad players, I say I am very lucky that I am not in your place. :joy: :man_health_worker: :construction_worker_man:

Except for a few hiccups, Q1 was an overall rolling success. Going into Q2 the same level of camaraderie amongst L1JTF should be maintained with a commitment to advance development having in mind the very best interests of the chain and it’s loyal investors. All deliverables appear to be in order with the noticeable highlights being CosmWasm IBC, “Ziggy” market module and Station on-ramp. An unqualified YES from me.

It would be good idea to include an NDA as part of the Q2 contract. No devs on the payroll to voice their opinions on LUNC and the governance on twitter etc.

People saying Zaradar seems to be spending too much time on twitter spreading FUD have a valid point that should be addressed.

His a bad actor for this chain , we are used to it ignore him

guys I’m going to make a roadmap for the ecosystem. I need a salary.

Did I hear right?

So are we going to pay programmers to make a valuation roadmap for the ecosystem?

Shouldn’t you worry about the programming just… so it doesn’t happen like in Q1, which was missed?

I am thrilled to have more work done on the blockchain, and would like to congratulate the whole team for their work on Q1, but we have to keep in mind that lunc has dropped in value since the inception of the Q1 project, and the CP has a hard time getting enough funds to permit any unnecessary spending for Q2

Notably, Finalize L1 Dojo - Path of the Journeyman should be considered outside of this proposal, like the ‘Ziggy’ module is subjet to a separate governance proposal. It seems to me that this is more like a side project for the benefit of the L1 on the long term, and doesn’t pertain to the immediately necessary groundwork for LUNC

Furthermore, the scope of the project for the month of April alone seems very ambitious, I am no expert though, but I feel like this should be toned down a bit, that seems like a lot of work ! Especially since Q1 seemed to be too ambitious itself !

Addendum :
To add on what others have pointed out : I had no problems with the rates for the developers at Q1, despite finding them personally very expensive on some parts, but now, for Q2, I have some doubts.
I understand that Tobias is a senior developer, but he has explained that he would like to slowly distance himself from LUNC development, and (iirc, of course) would like to participate in Ed’s new project, and there has been a lot of quarrel on Twitter between Tobias (Zaradar) and others. Whether those disagreements are justified or not, it’s not a good look, and the other members of the team have been very discreet or professional about those matters, and I can only encourage the team to keep behaving in a professional way. There’s also the topic of the GitHub merges, and all the talk about the chain merge with Luna too !
There has been some clues leading to believe that a few developers, very competent ones too, have been doing the bulk of the dev work despite working part time. Although I don’t doubt Tobias experience as a developer, I fail to comprehend why the raise in rate ?

If anything, for me that doesn’t really follow the news, all that has been going on on Zaradar’s Twitter is quite worrying in fact : all the talk about Luna2 (a blockchain more controversial than ever), the constant debates, the disagreement among developers, the case of the GitHub merges, etc etc…
I am now cautious. I would like to just encourage Tobias to have a more understanding and humble communication on Twitter, if not more discreet especially about the stuff that could attract or scare away investors

The proposal need some clarifications and tweeks, and the L1 Dojo to be moved to its own proposal, but as it is now, I have no choice but to vote No !

I also second the request for a simple checklist of what has been done on the scope of Q1, as to better assess the situation !

Who is it? Who is the bad actor? I wonder if we see the same people :joy: I think I might start ignoring it too :star_struck:

Zaradar should go visit Do Kwon in penitentiary and get hired to work on Luna 2 because he clearly hates Lunc!

Also nice try trying to fluff up the Q2 tasks by mentioning dojo twice which consists of taking the writings from various developers that wrote it and copy pasting into a document.

L1 is building its own project.

It’s not building the classic terra ecosystem.

We don’t need more projects, we just need to hire work.

I do agree with some of these comments. People questioning Zaradar spending to much time on social media, fair comment. Devs been paid from the CP who I suspect will spend some time on Ed’s side project, another fair comment. Will a project manager bring in value of $7k month, fair comment. L2 work should not be included at all “mission creep” fair comment. And to add my little bit …Can the community pool even afford some of these costs???

I listened to the AMA today… I think there is a huge disconnect between the developers and people who are here for an investment. It seems like the development folks are involved in a lot of groupthink and feel like they are on the right path. And they are discounting the people who have concerns. To the point of talking down to them. We cant just say L1 is different than L2… give us money. These things need to go together. We need to work on projects that help the price to justify these expenses. Just telling people they have to wait isnt working. We need to see more progress on projects that are going to impact price.

Totally agree! And as much as I think Tobias is a VERY smart guy, he would be the biggest culprit. I have heard him speak so many times and shows little respect for the average LUNC investor, to me that’s a big character flaw.

I personally support this proposal, cant help but think that Ed excluded himself from the spending proposal just so there is enough money to pay the team and the legal entity (just speculating). I really hope parity can be achieved in Q2 and some value is added to the chain, also i am very interested on how the USDC situation will unfold for LUNC.

I see a lot of people attacking Zaradar because he supports Do Kwon, in my opinion he should be given a second chance to redeem himself and prove his innocence. The guy named his first kid after the chain , this fact alone makes me think this was all a coordinated attack just to destroy USTC (they are attacking all stablecoins now) and it was not his intent, even CZ said that he had the right idea. But only time will tell.

I would also propose to add an extra $100/ month (can be negotiated) to hire Jay @HappyCattyCrypto1 as a top senior vice president of education and information for Lunc since DJ Trev left. (Joke aside i would really want to see him on the team).

Good luck, looking forward to Q2.

Where is Edward Kim money?
He should get paid even if is not focus in L1 team work but in sidechain AI!

Stop trying to bring Ed into the picture. There is no mention of his share in the budget. Do not imagine things or put in accusation with no ground.
