LUNC & USTC Rebuild Road Map Proposal

I do understand. I am just being more cautious with my words as I need to keep those doors open right. I can’t levy accusations to people or groups I am also trying to sway.

That said whatever power they held over the majority of validators is less strong now than before the vote to approve the new coin.

I also do not think you were criticizing my plan, just venting a frustration that is commonly felt throughout the community.

Time will tell but I hope its not too late by then.

If the incumbents were to act honourably then they should already have at least restored the existing governance system (i.e. re-enabled delegations and staking). They don’t need to cede any existing powers they have (which they might not have liked in your proposal) to restore the current governance.

The fact they have not done so is very telling as to their motives, imo.

Finally someone with a sane, methodical plan to fix this mess.

You have my vote. Just let us know what we need to do to support you along the way.

I need the validators on board and voting. It may not happen by the close of this vote, but the momentum being built can be carried onto a se ond attemt as I have a way more detailed plan and already making inroads in the validator community.

Daddy just make new proposal in gobernance and we will follow

oh men you have completly no clue what you are talking about on anything.
of course they want to keep control over luna classic.
Its about the community.
95% didn’t wanted the new chain and refuse to migrate.
So as long as they can keep luna classic down as more people will move to the new chain.
They don’t need a competitor with bigger community support than they have,

what an idiotic explanation.

Orion had over 9% voting power not because they had so many lunas staked but because community members delegated their voting power to them.
So what you recommend is making community power irrelevant should they delegete their votes to a validator who has to much power already.

What a total nonsense …only from somebody who has completly no understanding of the voting system.

Grandpah go modeling or it a snickers

Whilst I don’t like the rude tone you used to respond to Deathstar_Daddy - that was completely uncalled for imho, I do agree with the point you make about the community support for Terra Classic and the v2 group not wanting a competing chain with such large community support. This was essentially the point I was making in my earlier comment.

However, I don’t think suppressing Terra Classic is actually going to work out well for the v2 group - I think that yet again they completely underestimate the strength of feeling in the community and that this approach will backfire on them.

I see no point of having the angry attitude here. If you understand something better, just explain it to the community, you’ll be appreciated.

appreciate your enthusiasm, Deathstar_Daddy - but the role you’re applying for requires more background in CS, crypto and finance. Otherwise you’re limited to team building and general management, without having the intricate knowledge of the product. I’ve worked on teams ran this way, it isn’t optimal.

If you know html as you stated, then you should have a good start learning solidity or any other language used in blockchain dev. Would be an interesting learning path to embark on, given the future of blockchain seems pretty exciting.

When someone tries to tell you validotors need $10.000plus /year server for running a validator and many other BS then you get tired expecially when he tries to convince you with BS he doesn’t even understand but act as a leader of blockchain

The OP got no skills to take over the LUNAC, you can read all of his BS talking, he doesn’t know how blockchain and validators works.

You can see all of his BS at Enable Stake - #9 by Deathstar_Daddy, beside this OP proposal will not pass, it is just waste of the time.

Enthusiasm, planning, negotiation/influencing skills and tenacity is what we need right now imho. I haven’t seen anyone else step up with such a detailed plan as the one Deathstar_Daddy has put forward, and continue to try to push it and follow through with it. Of course that could be happening behind the scenes but it is not visible to me.

Sure some of the details in the plan might need to be refined, and some details might be incorrect but that is less important right now, and can be refined by a multi-disciplined team once cooperation from existing validators has been achieved. It is rare in my experience (30+ years of software development and development team management, last 4 years in crypto) to find all the required skills in one or two people. Deathstar_Daddy doesn’t need to be an expert in blockchain development to build a team that can make this work successfully, he just needs to be a good leader.

Dude, paying a validator for $10,000? Will you pay for it? He gonna charge you 2 Million for a leader than Do Kown earn in a year! And He will be selling you 500 times than average price? He is just here to ripping off from when people are falling. This is just nonsense! Have a good day!

3% tax ???

ROFL ROFL ROFL …any dapp run on Luna would instantly stop…

Mr Brain all of your proposals are total nonsense.

Like I said some details might be wrong. Maybe this was a bad estimate. I don’t know how much a suitable managed vps for a terra validator node would cost per month/per year as I have not investigated it. It is the kind of detail that would get resolved when the plan is refined. Nobody is gonna rip anyone off on the cost of running a validator, as that is easily challenged.

I believe Deathstar_Daddy is being sincere in his proposal. If you have a better proposal to put forward and can show suitable leadership skills, please go ahead!

fair opinion… I just prefer managers to be specialists when it comes to tech/engineering

Also a fair point!

If you don’t know design system of blockchain, then it is not suitable to be a leader. The more problems will rise and he will be relying on other people and causing more problems… if you want that, you can vote so.

first of all he is no leader and never will be a leader. He clearly doesn’t understand DPOS as Do is no leader too.Do took control over voting for a reason since he doesn’t lead he can only propose.
The community is the decission maker based on voting.

So any talking is BS as long as there is no voting enabled.
I tried now for nearly 2 weeks to re enable voting but this community is simply to dumb to understand how it works.
No Voting No Progress.
Seems Death Daddy understood it after a whole week passed.

Now the big issue validators are not voting to re enable voting which in my eyes tells me Do wants to keep power over that chain making sure there is no progress so the community moves to the new chain.

I sent a pull request of a proposal 3 days ago and they still haven’t it whitelisted.Guess why ?

So every discussion is total useless as long as the community won’t get their voting/staking re enabled because without running own validators you have no control over the blockchain or can execute even the smallest update since you need majority of validators to implement the update to not fork out of the orginal chain

So ALL DISCUSSION IS USELESS WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO VOTE
