somewhat like the vault idea here. Overall I think we need a proper dynamic mechanics where if maintaining a stable-coin peg becomes unsustainable we then lower the peg for the duration being to absorb exit pressure etc while still making sure that the chain on the whole stays safe

So theoretically, if ustc repegs to the dollar. You should be able to reactivate the burn/ mint mechanism. To avoid a second impermanent loss scenario, it is important to keep the ratios of loaned assets to liquid assets. More like a traditional bank, i think there’s a formula for that, that could be embedded in the code.
