Summary
Let’s combine several solutions together in a multi stage recovery plan. First, regain users trust by trying to restore some value to UST/Luna. Second, come up with funds for those that want to exit. Third, migrate to a new coin and deprecate UST/Luna.
Motivation
There are so many different opinions on how to solve the current issue but most solutions alienate one or more groups of users/builders. There are lots of great solutions that have been proposed so we just need to come together and try to understand each others point of view.
Proposal
For the first stage, we tweak the mint/burn mechanics so we can start removing excess supply as mentioned in [Proposal] 8 Steps to Save Luna Now - Economic Refactoring Proposal From Industry Professionals
For the second stage, we raise funding to allow people to exit that haven’t already from the first stage. We use the angel investors as described in The Sanest Compromise - Combining the Terra Ecosystem Revival Plan and the FatMan Plan
For the last stage, we migrate to a new coin and deprecate the existing UST/Luna coins. This is also described in The Sanest Compromise - Combining the Terra Ecosystem Revival Plan and the FatMan Plan as well as the one by @dokwon Terra Ecosystem Revival Plan
