Thanks for the detailed answer Rabbi, this is a very good prospective! I think that this is what the community mostly like of you: your position is clear and focused on the solid developement of lunc chain. Ustc is also important, what we have to do now is to keep ustc burning that is already smt that is working. In the future we’ll see.
I humbly think that our community needs someone like you, especially for your constancy and firmness of ideas. I mean, you never gave us a reason to be disappointed, and you have always remained in your positions. Not like others around here, who instead have been like flags waving where the wind blows.
So i have been reading and following the forums for quite sometime and sometimes i just shake my head as if it reminds me of being back in high school. There have been some great ideas and not so great.
This community has great potential if every can get on the same page and goal.
I also noticed a lot of the main validators with all the vote pull power just mainly abstains their vote just to meet the validator requirements.
Rabbi i think you have a great proposal but giving the past hit and run of community funds wouldnt it be better for the community pool for them to be paid by milestones?
No initial upfront payments. To complete a milestone on the Q1 and Q2 roadmap. Community reviews the completion of milestone work and they get paid.
This will only show and restore good faith with the team willing to do the work and show they really want lunc to thrive. If they really want to help and invest the lunc community, this would show actions with words.
Plus this is a better way to mitigate the risk of our CP funds and take a even lesser loss incase it doesnt workout.
Maybe a check point roadmap on the forums or something thats easy to find and advertise that every lunc holder or potential hold can keep track of. This might even be a great way to get other utilities and dapps back to the chain if they are seeing development roadmaps being completed.
You need the fired team to turn over IP that they have developed during their employment. What were the terms of their employment contract? Let’s say the information is not sent to your team, wont it take sometime to even start the process of rebuilding the chain?
In this case, would your new team be able to reverse engineer, refactor, and test the existing codebase? Wouldn’t this slow down development and inadvertently increase cost?
If your new team has extensive experience in building similar L1 chain ,shouldn’t they be able to quickly understand the project’s architecture and requirements, and continue development without significant delays? It would seem that your team is less experienced in this type of project than the previous L1 team.
Your team, it would appear does not have the expertise to continue building the project without the help of the present L1 team.
I have taken on numerous IT projects and completed them successfully without much delay. This without the input of previous administrators. Why? I understood the nature of the projects.
I did not “NEED” their inputs . Are you confusing the terms need and want?
A need is an essential requirement or a necessity whereas a want is a desire. By saying you need these things from the present L1 team would suggest that the work of your team will not be a reality until these needs are met.
So we would pay the team upfront money and when the needs are not met, what next?
Houston we have a problem!
Need a CEO, breakdown of LUNC departments, finance, hiring new talented blockchain developers to add to the team, am sure many nations worldwide have some of the greatest developers, dream team to focus on the future, burn ideas to help support the LUNC projects and developers, paying incentives with 20 of payment with LUNC to insure that interests are the main goal for the future of LUNC.
Other than that, the proposal looks good.
Just keeping up the alert level on our fake Rabbi, Sock Puppet of what was formerly Terra Rebels, out to do whatever he can to bring down the LUNC community, attack with a view to grab as much $$ as possible and then run fast with it.
The one thing not on the mind of Rabbi and Terra Robbers is any kind of future for this coin. Still trying anything to bleed LUNC dry.
We have been collecting information on the “Rabbi” and legal action will be taken at the appropriate time. There is a good body of history and evidence of the activities engaged in and whom invented the Rabbi to what purpose. If you have any information to add, please message me directly.
If there is concern you should share it, there is no information in your message. Also, maybe concentrate on the prop, not only on the writer (since the writer is not part of the suggested team).
This does not look like a proposal, It looks like an unhinged attack on an existing proposal with a shadow “team” tacked on that would like to accept some funds.
A resume ties work qualifications to real-world entities that can back up your claims. That is the only purpose of providing a resume. Otherwise it is a list of qualifications copy-pasted from wherever.
No explicit need for doxxing either. If the entities listed in the resume can step forward and say that “Solid Snake” did the work that is all the verification needed. But there has to be some real-world validity.
Currently the only parts of this proposal that are not designed to sling mud at another proposal are 100% “trust me bro”.
Your team’s credentials have to be able to stand on their own, regardless of what the other guys are doing.
Can someone explain to me what exactly this is? What’s he raging about on Twitter? How is everyone getting hac(ked? Or is everyone the same person? Or is everyone going crazy before the bull market?
Looks like national is not happy as to whatever happened to Toxic Labs. Maybe that should be your question… What happened to make Toxic Labs leave? What also happened near the same time to Terraport? Why are their so many snakes in the grass in Lunc? Why have nearly no Dapps wanted to move on to this chain? With the current L1 team, will Dapps want to join? Why would their stance change with the current situation? Would it be a good business decision for any Dapp to come here? Again these are questions you should have and be asking. Question everything and everyone, including and most definitely not limited to this new team, current team, and all the usual suspects.
