Joint L1 Task Force Q2 Proposal with Amendments

That is not true, maybe you should circle back and listen again more calmly to what was said!
They did say that they would try to persuade Zaradar to come back but IF he agrees to it then they will put it to the vote via governance as to whether the community will accept him back in the L1 team.

Also said any funds not used because the contractors will be away or no one else has filled a vacant position will be returned to the CP at the end.

If validators vote on this and pass this proposal then we shall hold them responsible for whatever happens. At least from me, it’s a No until the L1 Team gets their act together.

Where is the proof of what you are saying? Stop fantasizing so much and creating conspiracy theories. Or better dedicate yourself to creating detective books or games of chance

So it is like:

  • we are not hiring zaradar
  • there will be no one else interested beyond Zaradar
  • we are hiring Zaradar

Thats how it looks like. Its mind-boggling how they are even putting up a prop with a vacant lead-dev role, vacant junior dev roles, 2 other devs and a project manager.

Y’all think I want to lead. I don’t. Leadership is a burden I’d rather not have to bear. I’d much rather relax and watch capable people working hard (with fair payment) at reviving the blockchain and increasing the value of my investment. But I’m old enough to have seen what’s going on here at least a dozen times over. I’ve ran and grown startups before - what’s happening here is a complete breakdown in management, alongside an unhealthy amount of grift and a complete lack of long-term vision. First Terra Rebels monopolized the community’s resources and attention for over 6 months, only to implode and produce little of worth. Now the same thing is happening with the TGF…

We do not have time for any more of their nonsense!

TGF (through Ed’s efforts) has branched out throughout the LUNC ecosystem and has set itself up as the de facto nerve center of the blockchain. Most high-level decisions and payments route through it. Validators swim in tandem with it. The community blindly supports it. This was set up by Ed (via abusing his leverage and what good will/clout he’d managed to accrue), and is currently ran by Steve & Marco. I wouldn’t mind any of that if they were good at their jobs. But they’re not. They’re treating the blockchain like a dinky third-grade app, instead of the $1B+ asset that it is. And they’re choking its expansion just to leech overinflated salaries from the CP while suppressing the chain’s vertical and horizontal growth potential. They’re terrible managers and even worse businessmen, nevermind all the tradfi bullshit they want to force down all our throats. They can’t even put together a competent senior engineering team (something I’ve managed to do in my off time with the help of the immensely talented Bilbo Baggins).

Here’s a short recap of TGF’s latest offering (this proposal):

  • double billing for Q1 work
  • vacant dev slots
  • overpaid “manager”
  • only 2/2 junior devs
  • lying about Tobias’s return
  • lying about Superman (MIA)
  • unreturned Q1 money
  • fluffed up Q2 map
  • ignoring community outcry

These people shouldn’t be entrusted with running a chicken coop, let alone a $1B+ blockchain.

Either we remove their parasitic hooks from the community pool, or they’ll bleed LUNC to death.

Anyone supporting them is either dumb as a bag of bricks, or has open short positions on LUNC.

What happened here was a @RabbiJebediah who consistently has questioned integrity, played fast and loose with the facts, and has not had any amount of charity for others - and has shown judgement of others that even he could not withstand.

While there may be times you ask honest questions, they are certainly clouded by, in my opinion, dishonest assessments. You throw any and everything at your opponents (or those you disagree with) - whether it is intellectually honest or not.

I sure hope others see it, and while I do want them to engage you with honesty, truth, and charity - I certainly hope they see what you are actually doing. I sure can (and it has been very helpful to assess what I am listening to, and how I am voting).

I thought you were the developer? :man_facepalming:

Where is your research - the only argument I have seen lately are ad hominem (and I am sorry, but I have to call it out). I am more than willing to engage with good thinking, merits, and research, but it seems to me that every post you are posting has turned into just slinging mud (again, not honest questions and research, which I admit some have attempted to provide that cut against this proposal). To be fair, you are not the only one in this post. I just tend to notice you seem to do the same thing again and again whenever you have a proposal open - I was hoping this time would be different (why can you just win a proposal because it is a good proposal, instead of having to attempt to win by tearing down others and slinging mud - I am not talking about honest questions here, I am talking about subtle insinuations, or more than subtle, and ganging up, based on nothing more than your claims).

If you don’t want to be called out for it, then start being productive in conversation and discussion and provide research, and honest reflections (I know you can do it, I have seen you do it - and quite frankly you do yourself, and this community, better when you do it).

I suggest you go to a psychiatrist or maybe you have a serious mental disorder. why you have to impose your opinion on others and herd opinions to match yours. if you really have the ability you and the people who support you try to apply for jobs opened by LBA, to collaborate and have lots of ideas to put together rather than spending time criticizing others without a definitive solution. maybe egocentric needs to be reduced a little so that this block chain can be better in the future. :man_shrugging:

You’re only seeing the surface-level arguments here; I’ve been dealing with these fools for months.

Problem with that is it would incentivize LBA’s and TGF’s bad behavior, namely their bloated props, overinflated salaries, and complete disregard for the chain’s long-term future (their ideal scenario is keeping things in maintenance mode, so they risk nothing while receiving fat paychecks every month… meanwhile the chain stalls, and we lose out by missing the bull run). There’s also the issue of “gifting” TGF a 6-man engineering team they’ve done nothing to assemble or help. Bad deal all around. Not to mention Steve’s entire “job” is completely worthless and pointless (tiny engineering teams don’t need a manager, it’s usually done by the team lead himself).

You can’t reason with weeds, you have to pull them out… or the garden dies. Simple as that.

When I see someone attacking @aeuser999 and @ek826 this way ,I get really sad for gotting this person’s involved with all of this. They do not deserve to be treated this way, some maite not know but without the 2 of tham this all revival will not even be possible.we will not even be here having this discussion. In the first place. This forum uses to be a place to have a constructive convo a constructive review, not for personal attacks . Behaving like this ,we will create repugnance for the community that really wants to work on the chain. Maybe that is the plan a well organized attacked ,so someone can in the end be in control. But let me tell you,the plan haves a fault , do you want to be a king without a kingdom?

Wrong. No one in this community is irreplaceable.

No, I want the rest of you to stop being inept fuckwits and actually start pulling your weight! TGF are monopolizing positions of influence and control while wasting months without tangible progress. I’ve stood by long enough watching you all yank the chain around, none of you have any fucking idea what you’re doing. First TR, now TGF - what’s next?

Nobody bought into LUNC to see it bled to death by a cadre of useless ghouls who prefer grifting for peanuts now, instead of delaying gratification and working towards a million-dollar payout later. It’s inexcusable what’s happening with this prop, validators in general, and CP thievery/drain.

F*ck’s sake, now we’re gonna start paying for empty dev slots too??

And as always, the rats come out in defense of their own. You talk about community and all that crap, but the community broke apart the moment you let other interests govern the chain. I have a memory, Vegas. I remember everything that happened since the inception of TR

another year that is being lost just talking and arguing without getting anywhere

No, we respect ek826, don’t try to compare what happened to you to ek, you are a rat of the community, return the money you cheated to the community as soon as possible, blockchain has memory, otherwise you will be nailed to the shame post forever

Vegas is no “rat”, and truly @Vegas and @ek826 both worked, as have many others, toward the restoration of this system for much of the last year (and I had the privilege of working with both of them around proposal 4159, and at other times - and had the privilege or working with others too). It is somewhat tragic, at least in my estimation, that people are not able to see the work these people have done toward restoration (and the emotional toll it sometimes has taken). Not that they have been the only people working toward restoration, and there are always new people joining in to work with other people toward restoration, but they are two people who have worked beyond themselves to attempt to help restore Terra v1 (at least from my perspective).
