Joint L1 Task Force Q2 Proposal with Amendments

He should not have taken the money for developers he would not have hired or without being sure about whether he has a senior developer to hire or not.

This isn’t a staking scheme in which we stake our Community Pool money with you LBA so that you can return it after deducting burn fees after 3 months.

We have already burned a lot of money paying you for work that could have been done at 1/5th or 1/7th of your salary.

You have to prove your worth now otherwise this will continue.

Should go with repeg plan then …

What would you rather expect? Lunc to 0?

Market dictates prices, not developers nor governance. And it already floored a year ago.

So I’m expecting Terra Classic to be an environment that could attract investors and add value back to the chain - not the other way around.

and last I checked the market was impacted by community sentiment, the majority of whom voted NO on the proposal until allnodes came in with their disproportionate voting power.

there has been a substantial loss of trust in this project with the whole fall but that loss of trust has only continued to worsen over the last several months with back door deals, lies, theft, etc.

I wouldnt count on investors coming here anytime soon.

Hi, love your work in helping to keep these thieves accountable.

Can you post the updates on a separate thread so the title is big and glaring for anyone under the governance section instead of getting lost on the comments on this thread. That way each day its updated it will stay at the top of the list for all to see?

True. People seem to forget that part - 11462 was tanking until Allnodes singlehandedly saved it (and killed 11463). Regardless of anyone’s personal feelings on the matter, a validator with 15% shouldn’t have voted like that - they should’ve abstained on both props, even moreso because Jagmot of Allnodes sits on TGF’s council. There’s a massive conflict of interest there, and centralization that benefits no one but Allnodes + TGF.

But what can you do, we’re now stuck with Steve’s clown circus throughout Q2.

LUNC is already starting to tank (as I predicted when the prop passed).

This is definitely a good idea. I will create a separate document and also a separate thread for that.

Holy actual cope. Lunc gets de-listed from NDAX for being a “security risk” but no it’s not the development or the lack of dapps (Which there are currently none incoming) “It has to be the market!” Fucking delusional honestly, we’re going to keep bleeding and it’s not going to stop because of stupid shit like this type of thinking. NO dev has come onto lunc and NO ONE wants to build on it besides Terra Rebels, Terra Allies and the current L1 and apparently two of these groups are either fake people or scammers. It’s been a year, what the hell are you actually talking about?

Hey @arunadaybasu how’s the day 4/90 report coming along?

We’re counting on you man! Someone has to keep the L1 (ghost)team accountable.

It’d be best if you could open a new thread here on Agora, so you can bump it every day with new info.

So what’s your suggestion to “stop the bleeding” and keep moving forward ?!?

Please read the proposal for Q1. The L1 Task Force went above and beyond, developing much of the solution, when the item for parity was to research and document available options.

That’s it? That’s your reply for the reports being made the last 3 days?

Is there absolutely nothing else that you wish to share with us?

Thank you for your reporting on our activities.

I just wanted to let you know that your reports are unfortunately missing a lot of context and information, and paint a significantly incomplete picture. It’s easy to speculate and say that folks are not doing any work, when in fact they are. Simple example – attempting to measure collaborative development work based on Github commits (i.e. Superman and Tobias working on something together).

Here is a sample of one day for you from this week (from my perspective):

Tuesday:

7am-8am Standup Meeting

  • Reviewed open issues and prioritized activities for the day
  • Reviewed ad-hoc security item
  • Welcomed volunteer L2 station tester for v2.0.0. (Deferring v2.0.0 into Q2 for additional testing was at the suggestion/request of two ToxicLabs users, one of which was listed in the other L1 proposal from Rabbi).

9am ~30 min call - Discussion with Vinh re: finalizing approach for testnet upgrade, ad-hoc security item, and wasmvm development

12pm – 1 hour Twitter AMA with LDF providing update to community (I do not consider this billable time).

7pm to 8pm – Github project board updates, issue review, scheduled meetings, reviewed, responded to, and discussed items brought up by team in Slack / Microsoft Teams.

8pm to 11pm – Reviewed available on-Ramp providers. Moonpay, Ramp, Kado + ~20 other providers. Reached out to providers requesting opportunity for Luna Classic/USTC to be supported on their platforms. Reviewed approach for implementing on-ramp in station, and created wireframe diagram for proof of concept.
11-11:30pm: Answered some community questions that were sent to me (i.e. When parity?).

This is one sample day. Our team members are required to work 20 hours a week at their pay rates (which Tobias was the exception as a FT headcount of 40+ hrs /wk). They do not get paid overtime for their extra time.

Lol. What? :sunglasses:

Do you know what does PART-TIME mean? Now I really wanna know what do you think it means cause I am mildly surprised at your blatant misuse of money.

So according to you, part-time means 20 hours per week?

Are you absolutely sure about that? Since you do not know maths, I don’t think that you are aware that means YOUR per hourly rate is $62.50 USD?

I don’t even care about commenting on whatever else you just said cause you don’t know what the above calculation means.

It means I will recalculate how much you have to give back to the community, and that will increase by 2-3 times.

I have not done this to you. You have done this to yourself now.

P.S. The rest of the report on you and your work shall be in my reports.

And Don, don’t talk shit now.

See, this does not fit into the narrative provided.

Indian project manager starts to calculate how he could provide 25/hrs a day.

Actually, depending on the country, part time could be as little as 18 hours a week.
62.50 USD/hour would correlate to 57 eur/hour. That is gross pay before any taxes and is not net pay.

This is in fact grossly below the average cost for most developed countries.
As in - if we treat TC Governance as the hiring “company” and the L1 team as contractors - 57 eur/hr for this type of work is cheap as f*ck.
I’m sure we could low-ball further if we second world or third world developers.
An average electrician is contracted for 60-80 eur per hour for example (Finland) and the work is much less involved…

Your pet projects are your own.
I’m glad your request to project manage a dev team got shot down - if this is the quality you are providing and the world view you have. TC is a global chain. Not just in India.

Your infatuation with Dons of the world is charming, but fruitless.

What do you think the hourly rate for this type of work should be?

Really Don? Really?

Do you work 18 hours per week?

If you do, then you can keep quiet for now cause I work approximately 90-100 hours per week.

You are a useless owner/employee for any company and are drawing salary unnecessarily, just like LBA here.

If that sounds bad to you, it is, cause it’s the truth.

The truth is always bitter.

P.S. I work MORE than my employees, NOT LESS, cause I set the examples and others follow.

The example that you and your Shiba Inu development team here is setting, is so bad, that people will not want to get into blockchain programming on Terra Luna Classic.

I will not say anything else cause you and LBA are not worth it.

I will only report the work being done objectively to the community cause they are worth working for.

I think you should return all of the money to CP keeping only Vinh’s and Frag’s salary with you.

I will also write that in my report.

Thanks.

Well, I suppose that’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it. You still never answered the question, of what the hourly rate for a scrum master / PM should be.

In any event, please do not parse words assuming that people only work 20 hours per week (in fact I was hinting above that they work more than that, and do not get paid for it, based on my example above). However, the hourly rate for all are calculated correctly – and are below competitive market rates in North America / Europe.

My understanding of Agora was that it was intended to be a forum for intellectual discussion and respectful dialogue. Unfortunately, it seems you are uninterested in that.

You are a useless owner/employee for any company and are drawing salary unnecessarily, just like LBA here.

How do comments like these help attract highly skilled individuals to the blockchain?

You spend countless hours here in Agora.
A week has 168 hours. So you work 100 hours doing something, spend a considerable amount of time shitposting and I guess you sleep at some point in time?
Yet your skills are not valuable enough to receive a liveable wage, I guess.

Get good in cosmos sdk and perhaps you too can work less in the future for higher pay.

And it is true that lower value your job or skill has - more you need to work.
Most of the world however has 40 hour work weeks. Like I said - everything is not India.

I will hold you to your word that your incessent rambling, 4channing and whoring for attention will stop now.
