Dont disencourage him. He is not getting paid and will do as he pleases. Imo these updates are well above the standard and are totally what we need in LUNC after wasting 300k on projects that didnt produce any results.

When Q2 development is complete, please consider halting further development and request a spending proposal with the Q3 CP funds to organize and take the chain through an official Audit!

This is correct and that is why I wil do a monthly review as well in which we go back and check whether what I have stated in the daily reviews is correct or not.
If I am wrong, I will update the information accordingly in the monthly report. I do not have any issues in doing that.
I have also stated that I will do a weekly report instead of these daily reports ONLY if Z joins the team.
So, LBA can go and talk to him. There isn’t much time to waste currently.
He has his negative qualities but that is something we cannot think about right now. An entire exchange dum(p)ed us and we need to get back up immediately.

This is not a place to play positive-negative. You can do that on Twitter. This is a place to discuss Governance.
The word comes from the word GOVERNMENT or to GOVERN, which is a very serious job.
If you can’t take this little bit of seriousness (that we should have shown much much earlier), then I’d suggest not to indulge yourself in this thread.
There are many other topics you can comment on.

On one hand, I still feel like this is an extreme level of oversight you’re doing here, micromanagement even, on the other hand, I appreciate the scrutiny over how the work is being done, it’s a good thing in my opinion that someone is watching what is actually being done, and you dedicate a lot of efforts (and time) for this.
But I would agree that a good compromise, maybe, would be an update at every sprint or every other week :
If you would consider this.

Although in my opinion I’d rather not see Zaradar make a come back. Hopefully another dev could step in, that is an urgent matter after all, because the team has no senior dev at the moment ! Hopefully @arunadaybasu will be able to report on how the hiring process is going, too !

That is for LBA to decide. If he sees that there are too many problems taking Zaradar in the team, then it might be better not to take him.
I will leave it to LBA to use his best judgement.
Also, I do not want to be the manager of the L1 Team. LBA is doing that job. I just want him to do that properly.
I only represent the community, and I do not have anything particularly against the team since I am a L2 dev primarily so there is no objective that I have hidden in which I would like to take over their work.
I can’t do their work and I won’t do it also. They will do their work since they committed to doing it.
I will commit and do my own proposals. This is LBA’s job to handle this commitment since he is the one who has made it.
