Say thanks to Allnodes. They didn’t support the community. :zipper_mouth_face:

$7.5k = $1.25k (junior devs) x 2 x 3 months (Discretionary Budget, as-needed development basis, paid hourly at a rate of $30 /hr. Any unused budget to be returned to community pool at the end of the quarter )

Don’t be so picky, Aru … let’s the guys work!

Is it possible to reach out to Jacob Gadikian to fill the Sr Dev position? I believe that any previous conflicts stemmed from the unprofessional attitude of Zardar toward other team members. Gadikian would be a real asset moving forward. He is a known quantity, and has real experience working on the Lunc chain. It would be impossible to find a better dev with more Lunc specific experience than Jacob.

It is April 17th. Not a single proposal is up for voting yet! Any progress???

Or Rabbi was right?

Day 1 / 90 L1 Development Team Community Review

  1. Frag and Vinh have now made their forks PRIVATE. I CANNOT see their branches that they are working on, anymore. At this point of time, it would be safe to assume that this was done AFTER I commented in the morning that I can see their commits. I do not have any personal issues if you decide to keep the repo’s private while working. It’s just that I will need to write in this report for the next 90 days that I do NOT have access to the GitHib repositories that the L1 Team is working on to check whether they are doing the work or not. If they did not wish to make to make this work public while working they should have made that clear before voting on this proposal and you should have mentioned it clearly to us

  2. As mentioned earlier today, I did see both Frag and Vinh working on some branches they have forked earlier. But we do not know whether they have worked TODAY. Working on the day previous to the day this contract with the community begins does not entail to having done justice to the contract, so please respect this contract with us from the next time, and make your commits publicly available to us. If you, LBA, have told the devs to do this then you have not done the right thing for transparency towards the community and this contract

  3. You, LBA, Project Manager of the L1 Team, do NOT have any public evidence to show that you have worked for L1 Team work on Day 1. If you do, then please present your case in this forum so that your salary can be considered to have been justified on Day 1. For the time being, and the sake of simplicity in the calculations below, I am NOT considering your remuneration on Day 1 and the same should be deducted according to the calculation below

  4. I had already seen that only 2 out of 6 developers were working today so unless you show GitHub commits that prove me wrong, I will have to mention here that ONLY 2 developers out of 4 developers are working currently. Also, the Project Manager cannot be considered to have been working. Thus,

I have calculated for you how much in fiat you will need to refund to the community for the first day of work which was not done:

1 full time developer (need replacement) at a rate of $12.5K USD per month:
$78.125 USD per hour @ 160 hours per month (8 hours per day x 5 days a week x 4 weeks) x 8 hours
= $625 USD

1 part time developer (Superman) at a rate of $6.25K USD per month
$78.125 USD per hour @ 80 hours per month (4 hours per day x 5 days a week x 4 weeks) x 4 hours
= $312.50 USD

1 part time project manager (LuncBurnArmy) at a rate of $5.0K USD per month
$62.5 USD per hour @ 80 hours per month (4 hours per day x 5 days a week x 4 weeks) x 4 hours
= $250 USD

Discretionary budget – 1 part time junior developer at a rate of $1.25k USD per month x 2 devs
$15.625 USD per hour @ 80 hours per month (4 hours per day x 5 days a week x 4 weeks) x 4 hours x 2 devs
= $125 USD

Total to be Refunded to Community Pool for work not done on Day 1 / 90 = $ 625 + 312.50 + 250 + 125 USD
= $ 1,312.50 USD

NOTE:

  1. I will be publishing a copy of this report every day for the next 90 days on Agora and on an article on Medium so that it can easily viewed and shared as a log of work done throughout the 90 days of contractual work with the community

  2. Since you have taken funds from the community by converting to a fiat value using a constant value of LUNC, when refunding back to the community please return in value which is equal to what should be at the value of LUNC stated in this proposal, i.e.,

$124.8k Total for quarter 2
1.015 B LUNC - LUNC conversion at 0.000123

If the value of LUNC is anything more than 0.000123 then refund at the value of 0.000123, and NOT at the higher value which will pay back less LUNC to the Community Pool. Please keep that in mind.

  1. If you wish to keep this project private and not viewable by reviewers from the community while working until you have merged your changes, then please make that clear to us so that I may report the work accordingly. You have already mentioned what is the work to be done in April. We shall evaluate your working according to the commitment that you have made monthly to complete if you do not prefer the method of keeping repositories public. That is up to you @LuncBurnArmy

Update: I can see the commits that have been made on the 16th of April, 2023 according to my time (GMT +5:30):

I have, in any case, considered that they are working so their salaries have also been considered for Day 1 / 90.

This a community chain? or does it feel like another dictator has now taken up permanent residence in this forum? Good grief…

Please send me your government issued ID so that I can keep it for reference if the community complains later that the work was not done and that we were ch(ea)ted of our money.

We will require a human being with an ID to file a ca`se of fr[au]d against, so if you are volunteering for that, you will find my email id on my GitHub. You can send it there.

The community thanks you for your service.

Don’t you have anything else useful to do?

Self assigned watchdog to harass, misconstrue and misrepresent the L1 teams work.

I’d say we are fine without such service.

I’d say we are not. I have a history to show to prove that. I don’t even need to. This thread itself is a testimony to work not having been completed last time during Quarter 1 - work that they are doing now and haven’t completed yet.

Either you work yourself, or shut up and let me do my work.

No.

Sh1tposting and fudding on Agora isn’t productive “work”.
It has no value.

In order for me to do my work, I need the L1 Team to be serious about their work. What I am making currently can work better if IBC is working, and I need it to be working if you wanna see some dApps on Terra Luna Classic that will attract investors.

You can in fact see what I have written here.

Without IBC, Evmos cannot work, so even if that maxcontract size isn’t a sc(am proposal, a workaround for that would have been possible had IBC been working.

And they are not even working on that yet. Currently, they are working on pushing state changes to validators upstream. The first 3-4 points in the task list for April. April is almost over.

I am in no hurry, but the issue is that the work isn’t finishing and as far as I see, there are only 2 devs working and LBA is looking for people he knows to take into the team. He obviously isn’t looking actively for FOUR developers otherwise we would have seen the job postings for that publicly. In fact, the job postings should have been done in a proper job posting website where we could have seen the kind of devs they are getting to choose from. He did none of that (apart from a comment on a post so that the opening isn’t visible at all).

I will not interfere in how they choose their personnel if the work happening on GitHub is justifiable. I am only commenting on what is visible publicly. I did not go around asking anyone anything or disturbing the team during their work.

Yes, this does put pressure on them for reporting their work every day, but that is something which is not in my hands. How they take this is up to them. What I need to do is report the work that they are doing cause last time this job was entrusted with certain members of the community and this wasn’t done properly.

We do not need a manager to protect them like a mother protects her babies. We need a manager to tell them what they need to do and get the work done. If LBA cannot be that manager to them and acts more like a public relations officer to them, then I have to truthfully report their work to the larger community so that they can vote objectively for the next quarter.

We don’t need a watchdog or a bully
No one asked you for this nor do we need it. That’s what the official media are for, which are more reliable.

I already mentioned above what is the alternative to this:

If you haven’t noticed yet, I never said till now that the 2 developers (Frag and Vinh) are not working.

In fact, they are working, and I have reported that exactly as it is. What is the issue exactly? That I am reporting the progress of the L1 Team and you do not want someone to do that? Are you LBA?

Alright, then bring me known members of the community here who will say that what I am doing is wrong and that they take responsibility for this team and their actions, and what results they produce after 3 months.

They have to simply come here and say what I wrote above. I will stop after that.

The team under this manager has already compromised itself. They received more than they gave. Everything must be in balance.
How did they want?

This doesn’t make sense, please explain! @nikolson41075

Reading the proposal can answer many concerns.

Supervising what L1 team is doing with community money is not a problem.

We can’t let Q1 to repeat. Parity supposed to be there already.
