Would devs be happy with receiving half in LUNC tokens and half in cash. Might be a good way to show community support for Terra Classic. Hold and Stake LUNC.

Its seems a great plan Ed. Zaradar should quit all his jobs and give all his time to Lunc after this salary. This in unfair to the whole community is we see zaradar doing other things after this. He must dedicate 100% if his time for lunc.

We must pay to the developers, this is obvious. Question - what will be the reporting? Wonât it also happen like the failed âplan for ustc in the Q4 2022â (Roadmap)? What about Stablechen, he ready to working with us?
I think , ıt might be good recovery ıdea.but we need volunteers in that way we can pay with $lunc from pool so again coin price will be more active
If we have a LUNC CEO, we can abolish validators voting their interests. We can have the community send their ideas directly without paying for proposals, have a vote on which would be beneficial to LUNC. Start new ideas, buy, support and burn.
Buy LUNC and tax for burn and support. This would create future funding for development for the team and also burns.

Q: What is the project goal for Q1?
The goal is to primarily to stabilize the chain, and achieve parity with Luna v2. The final leg of Q1 will be to explore solutions to get listed on TFLs interchain wallet.
Q: Positive/Negative - It is difficult to speculate on positive business outcomes; however, the negative consequences of not performing this work may be a progressively slower and slower network, until the point where archive nodes cannot sync (I do not know how dire this is, we currently still have archive nodes fully synced).
Q: What does the community need to do for the budget, A: nothing at the moment, if this were to pass community spend, given the rate of seigniorage, we would probably still have half the community pool.
Q: who is Till . A: Till is Fragwuerdig and has contributed more recently to the IBCs
@Dannavan_Morrison Q: Who will audit the codes? A: The code will be audited by 3 parties. Notional, this classic team, and a third party (explained below).
Q: Budget for TGF A: TGF has itâs own budget, no need for it here.
Q: No canonical repo: A: this is a further measure of decentralization. There will be no centralized github repo, but rather it will be the onus of the developer group to gain the trust of the validators to accept code via git commit history or code audits
Q: Who will own the blockchain repo, A: all code is open source and thus anyone can be an owner

OK sorry if I didnât mention everyone here (there is limit to 10 on the number of people I can tag), i think there were some overlaps so tried to bundle them. Now to an amendment to the proposal. After posting this proposal, I was contacted by a collaborator in the Cosmos who has 4 years experience running an L1 chain. I have consulted with this person in the past, and can vouch for their motivation to help us. They are willing to assist us, but wish to remain anonymous. They are also willing to help for free, but I would prefer that they be written into the budget. They said that they will make code changes/ audit code/ and contribute to the github and the community can decide on the quality of their work, and choose to pay them after it is done.
In light of this opportunity, I propose to repurpose the junior dev budget of $5k per month, and reduce the computing budget from $6.75k per month to $5.5k per month to budget for another part-time senior developer at $6.25k. The total requested budget does not change. All code commits will be publicly viewable on the github. I personally believe this person is one of the best devs in the cosmos, is massively beneficial to the L1 task force, and I hope that this is an acceptable amendment to the proposal.

Does this nameless developer have an online handle we could identify? Or do they wish to remain 100% anonymous? If itâs the latter, perhaps consider withholding any payouts for the first 4-6 weeks until things get going and youâre sure this person is a good fit for the team (Iâm not saying the work they do is going to be subpar, but they may have other responsibilities that take them in a different direction and itâs possible they wonât be able to commit to the project). Also, does paying this new senior dev mean youâll still be keeping the junior devs on board, but sans compensation?
On a somewhat related note @ek826, would you and the others on the L1 team who are doxxed be willing to sign boilerplate contracts that cover some of the deliverables youâve mentioned in the OP? Just to add a layer of security and ease the communityâs fears after all the recent drama. Most of the people here are supportive, but there are influential and competing factions whoâll attack this initiative once it goes live, and being able to present contracts would indubitably rob them of ammo they could use against this project.
Finally, if youâre not paying DJ Trev, would you consider adding @asobs as another community liaison?

Not sure v2 want it. Even if they did want it weâd need parity before we could even consider such a thing.
It took Eth I think two years to complete the merge from a blank chain⊠this is way more complicated so could take a lot longer
Agree with the proposal.
We have to get to a stage that we can fund development properly and pay teams adequately.
We have around $224,000 in the community pool, Luna have $420M.
Paying the devs should be seen as an investment weâll get a return on

Canât we also put in a proposal on Terra for LUNA if their community pool is ? 420m canât we put a proposal there for the USTC repeg ? As Iâm assuming there are projects and Validators/Delegators in that community who got hurt in the depegâŠ
