This proposal is totally unworkable, because the moment the proposal 11463 people get in they will take over and eliminate all the prior L1TF team. The have shown their true colors for months now and it should be clear to all that they only have ill intent for anyone who has a different opinion to them.
@fragwuerdig @Tonu_Magi @Dannavan_Morrison What are your comments about this? one of the markers of my concern towards actors like @RabbiJebediah and @faddat .
This is baseless and a lie. The truth, Bilbos team has been suggesting all along to bring Frag and Vihn in to have an all dev team. They have time and time again said they would like to work with those two, but do not see the need for spending on a program manager for such a small team. Start ups dont typically hire program managers as it is not cost effective to do so in the early stages. You can look at this situation in a similar manner⌠We need this chain to get to parity so that we can start âattemptingâ to on board Dapps. Dapps in this scenario can be looked at as new customers. As these new customers onboard, revenue should increase, at that point we could use a program manager for Dapp guidance and such. Having a program manager at this stage is just bloat at the moment, and this is not a slight at LBA it is just the nature of where we are as a chain. He would be a good candidate later on down the road. So my suggestion is that if Bilboâs passes governance that we create a spend prop to add Frag and Vihn.
Jacob left the team. It was addressed already in Rabbiâs proposal.
The money earmarked for Jacob will be returned to CP if proposal passes.
Tbh, Jacob was a huge help to this chain. He did most of the work. More than Inonman or Zaradar.
Heâll be missed, despite his threatrics.
Itâs surprising to see you agree with the @RabbiJebediah. All I remember about Jacob was a short run and then dictating that there was a vulnerability. A great fud was created. Gadikan shared more tweets than zaradar in the process. They werenât constructive tweets. Other developers disagree with you on Zaradar. They tell that Zaradar is very hardworking. Iâm curious about @fragwuerdig 's comment on this issue. For example, the gadikan was not working at all. It is said that he did not do any work for 2 weeks
You see what you read. Jacobs worth wasnât in his tweets or drama. It was in his contributions on Github.
Zaradar can be hard working. So is a mule.
Zaradar can be active and so forth.
You asked: Can we replace Zaradar. My answer: Absolutely.
There are other developers who also work hard, have experience, have the capability of listening others, can work with others.
I agree with Rabbi that we need more developers, not less. Do you disagree?
Jacob was indeed not working and absent without notice for two weeks in January. To be fair: It was Chinese New Year⌠So itâs like some kind of big Holiday period in Vietnam. But to answer your question: In my opinion and from what I observed: Zar is right. Jacob was rather in with lengthy chats about coding standards and linting and whatnot while the other team members actually created new code. Thatâs my observation. Dunno about the work he submitted on other chains. I can only tell from the small 1,5 months period I saw him working.
Github articles about adding a lot to the chain do not make me very happy.
can always be better
my problem isnât that there are more developers. They need to be able to work together. My biggest concern is that they were chosen by the rabbi which caused my anxiety.
thanks @fragwuerdig . so Iâm wondering if you are afraid of having problems with the specified developer team members? Itâs so painful to go back to these days and see the developers blaming each other.
This proposal is basically Rabbis prop v2 with added LBA and no Vinh.
Vinh is in there - did you actually read the prop?
I think he meant no frag. Prob a typo
Yeah sorry thats what i meant.
Sorry, but no. These are assembled teams, not a hodgepodge of Devs.
There is no failure of the community nor is it fragmented. One team looks to be winning and the other is losing. No one said you couldnât vote yes to both.
Plain and simple, the vote will decide if the community wants one, both, or none. Each vote is made independently from the other.
Sounds ok but Luncburn must know who these new guys are first.
tony what next ? how was your wormholeLUNA / LUNC ⌠LUNA 2.0 AIRDROP
With recent developments,I thing the team have to give themselves to know to the community. In general I think you did a great work of uniting instead of dividing that is what this community needs.
Plentiful. Yet irrelevant to the topic.
Take your meds dude, youâre giving Arubasu a run for his money in the crazy department. ![]()
now now, just because iâm right, doesnât mean i need meds. i forgot how smart lunc was and how they know whatâs always not best ![]()
