The worry I have is the phrase “since we have time”. We have time today, yes. However, the way things are going around here lately, I can see us having this same conversation 6 or 12 months from now when we no longer have time. That is the fear.
TR clandestine launch of RS without the community having an inking of what they were doing is worrying. The LUNC community should not be cajoled into paying for things they did not approve.
Any developer who wants to build for the community must do so by sending their bid proposal to ED’s team.
Hurrying into something that lacks detail in its plan is not good… do these Rebels also lack detail in their construction methods?
They have been building the chain since it fell. Does it look like they lack details in their construction methods?
They copied and pasted and turned back on some critical switches… I guess we’ll see how it turns out…if we want to be conventional than all is good, and Lunc will be around the average, nothing special.
TR organization is acting like a rudderless ship, The building of the LUNC blockchain will only happen expeditiously if there is collaboration between TFL,TR and other developers. Echelon in a recent AMA did not mince words expressing his desire to be paid and I agree 150% with him. TR without a leader is the root cause why developers are not being paid. One cannot hand out money to an organization that is not doxxed. This does not happen in the real world. Who among us would fork out money to a contractor to build his house if that builder is not doxxed.? We cannot dictate to any organization who they employ; however the LUNC community demands that the representative(s) of the organization be doxxed. Some of the basic principles of governance are accountability, transparency, fairness, and responsibility. The LUNC community will abide by these in dealing with developers. This is a billion dollar business not a tuck shop. Money is in it for everybody. Let’s build it the correct way.
To follow that direction, our best move is to reject this recent ‘wallet’ proposal11030 by the TR team and ask the community (and third parties) to start proposing additional (alternative) plans (including the appropriate details and developer ID) ~ and choose/combine the best of what is offered and then move into building the Lunc dedicated wallet. Hopefully a decentralized wallet (ultra-light nodes?).
Allnodes probably has ideas…
Is the below image legit? Is that Jared?
Relying on TFL is not a good choice, I don’t think relying on TR is a good choice either. TR want a lot of money to develop, and want another “fee” to hand things over if they don’t want to play anymore. I’m not saying it will, but it might lead to another ransom. At that time, The comunity’re fully relying on TR, we may have no choice ,but to give them what they want. I voted no , but I don’t think it will make any difference. The proposal will pass anyway. We’re screwed.
Welcome to the weekend. Conversation can be painful. Emotions are high; everyone is passionate about this chain, and it is beautiful.
@echel0n @reXxTR @Koch
I see progress in this agora thread, finally.
The Eventual (not now, but effectively not yet known) sunset of support from TFL is well supported here in this thread.
The only question is what to do with the time between now and then?
Quote from The Oracle:
“We’re all here to do what we’re all here to do. I’m interested in one thing…The Future. And believe me, I know: the only way we’re going to get there is together.”
What to do meanwhile? Simple. Make sure we stay up to date with the Luna Core so we don’t need to railroad ourselves but are ready for future development in sync with TFL just like they suggest. Invest our community pool into upgrading not side lining. Thanks.
Let me go a bit off topic. Keep faith and everything will be fine
I would like to add that it is not as bad as some people here suggest, on the contrary. As proof of what I wrote, I will quote an article - it says a lot about how we are perceived on the outside. Keep it up !
TR is a very good choice. If you can’t offer something better, then let TR stay with us.TR has proven that it can do good for LUNC.So why not continue working with them?Either communists or slaves work for free.We are not communists, and TR are not slaves? So I agree to allocate funding for the TR.
A yes vote is paying out money without a contract. Take a time to reflect on this! TR will be able to do whatever, without being accountable. Are we that desperate? A word to the wise is sufficient.
We’re not desperate at all because he’ll do it for free again. Do you want them to continue working for free? If not, suggest something constructive, so without pointing out errors, what do you propose? That’s what this whole debate is about.
So how do you source your tinfoil hats?
I get it Tonu ~ stay conventional here… keep all innovative thoughts elsewhere.
No one in their mind should even suggest that TR should not be paid. All I am saying is TR built a RS without approval and there is no urgent need for it. In essence the station is the property of TR. RS is not a core component of the chain. It is not needed at this time. If we believe in decentralization then TR are not the only players in town. I was in an AMA a few days ago and Echelon a member of TR pointed out the complexity at hand to achieve what they are stating. NO Guaranteed time or even delivery of what is proposed. Are we wiling to take that risk without any form of accountability. There needs to be contractual agreements between TR ,a private organization or any other organization for that matter with the LUNC community.
Meet the new boss (TR), same as the old boss (TFL)… question nothing, ignore the lack of details, hurry and decide, and there is no other path!
Every Lunc we spend should be spent decentralizing ~ towards self sustainability, not reliance on one cartel!
The blockchain was invented to stop scammers and protect individual privacy ~ don’t think those scammers are not fighting back!
If this community wants to be extraordinarily ~ it must stick to the blockchain core ideology. The mass of People in and on this planet want security and privacy!

Fully agreed, transparency and stability is paramount, the very problem is that it is difficult to estimate costs. Nobody has done that before. Besides, maintenance and expansion is also in this project. If I am wrong, please correct me. My suggestion is - itemise the expenses and account for them honestly during this project and present these accounts to the community. TFL will only temporarily support and they have their 2.0, that is their priority. If there was a merger, that would be different but there is a long way to go. We don’t know if it will ever happen at all, which is why we are currently on our own and have a choice. This is always worth paying for. As always, however, I am open to constructive ideas.
