DK is offering (free of charge apparently according to his tweets) support for the blockchain upgrade needed for LUNC to work on the new interchain wallet (and all its additional features increasing lunc use case).
Could your draft proposal be amended to include both approaches? Endorse both, Rebel Station and Interchain Station.
Include the upgrade of the blockchain (after the priority upgrade of the infrastructure as you see it) within 6 months in your proposal using all available free help from TFL, include needed $$ for your work in the proposal too.
Get both done, earn good money and preserve all options and use cases for LUNC.

@Koch What we are doing is throwing you a life line, if you choose to ignore this then what comes next is on you, as with all legacy apps (Terra Station), support ends and so do code updates, logically after that so do the resources that are used to run those legacy apps. What we are offering with this prop is not just cloning of a web app, but also the migration of those underlining assets / services / resources, including setup and whatever else is required to get them function, the choice is yours and no one is saying you have to do anything.
DK and the TFL will be upgrading the Terra Station to the Interchain Station… for no charge to the community… you’re assuming DK is lying… why pay 150kU$D when the TFL is upgrading the Terra station at no cost to the community? Your lifeline is unnecessary. Your lifeline is your cash line to our community pool.
Yes TFL is upgrading for free but just like explained in this thread this means a slow death to all current apps & LUNC use case unless the core work is done. It’s true no individual wallet holder is left behind but our chances of an increased LUNC value over time dissolves.
The real question is what is the right strategy - become fully independent DIY lunc with Terra Rebels or try and keep up with LUNA development. While I would love an independent LUNC I don’t think we are ready organisationally. We would be sidelined technically, as this proposal shows, it would be our first step of liberation to cut us off from utility and progress. Once we can effecti this kind of technical progress oursleves we are free to move.
Therefore I believe in a proposal which achieves both outcomes, supports Rebels financially, builds independent infrastructure yet also achieves the upgrade required to run LUNC on the new Interchain wallet and preserve maximum use case for LUNC until we are ready to leave LUNA behind.
You are not sure what TR have achieved to date, but here we see the reason why we need TR right now. I hope an upgrade commitment to work with the Station wallet can become part of the proposal.
As long as the TFL keeps our community (Classic) connected to the latest station that is connected to the cosmos ~ we (the Classic community) can propose ideas and funding for those ideas that holders can vote yes or no on, and if passed ~ find coders to do the work… I have seen nothing from these rebels other than their wallet, which is no different than the Terra Station, we will still have to do all the same stuff to build up our ecosystem, minus 150kU$D.
Has TFL decided not to provide these services and assets? What do we have to lose by completing v23? This should be supported by whatever TFL is planning I assume. A proposal of this magnitude must be sent to ED’s team first. Funding will come from them or are we at the stage of “RANSOMEARE”? We dont need a new station etc. if devs made the necessary changes in v23 to be compatible to what TFL is working on. Timeline of at least two months- Are the devs part time or full time? Two many questions . Edward Kim’s team needs to be contacted on this.
The requirements to make LUNC become compatible with TFL’s new interchain station requires the core code be updated still, along with prefix changes, and there needs to be a clear migration path for all smart contracts to switch to the new prefix, the bill for that is much larger than the bill for this and the timeframe on that is much longer as well.
I think what DK meant was that the future Interchain station will host tokens from all of Cosmos(The same way we have tokens like Atom and SCRT on TS), but that station will specifically be for LUNA 2.0. as the Terra Classic chain is not yet compatible.
Eventually, the chain will catch up(if funded I expect) but during that period, as Terra Station is phased out ,we can use Rebel Station as a backup.
1.TFL will still allow TR to use their infrastructure-Do Kwon is still keen on a merge
2. TR need to develop the v2.0.3 to be compatible with the new terra station
3. TR need to provide the community with a proposal for their plan for the lunc chsin
4. The community will not be held hostage by any developer/teams- we are paying
5. iF TR are playing hard balls we just need to get other full time professionals to do the job
6. We need quality service that must be done expeditiously
7,We need to spend money wisely- Ed’s team should send RFI/RFP if TR become obstructive
8.All proposals must be from fully doxxed and KYC organizations
9.We must show future investors that we are serious about building the chain by doing what’s right
10. We want what’s best for the chain
11. TR have laid the foundation - if they can perform the task of building the chain cost effectively then employ them

There will finally be an opportunity to compare the real skills of the programmers, although Terra Rebels has the advantage of familiarity, we are already allowing competition I guess?

Thank you for supporting your and my assets -TR but I see no basis for further funding them from the community pool without a mandate from THIS community especially of this amount - $150,000 ?!!
