The attacker that attacked luna/ust seems to be a person/group with deep pocket (Multi-Billion funding).
Letting this person/group loose would be a danger to the entire crypto ecosystem as it seems they are able to attack a 40-50 Billion market cap project easily. On hindsight, we know there are too many vulnerability on luna from the leadership to the handling of reserve. However, before the crash things aren’t so obvious and i believe only someone close to the team may have such deep understanding and knowledge to pull off such attack.
My questions is why is everyone only hating on Do Kwon and no one is focusing the attacker? Is there any group or anyone investigating on who is the attacker and what is their main motivation?
Maybe because there was no attack and the project was unsustainable and had to fall?
Because it was unsustainable and based on debt money. First grade math is enough to realise.
You witnessed a bank run, not an “attack”. Saying there was an attacker is cope. The project was built on a house of cards. No one is at fault other than Do and Terra/Luna.
Attacker is most likely the one who sold Luna the BTC stash. They’ve then used the UST to crash the price after setting up a large short and cause a run on the bank, panic sale while pumping negative news on CNBC and Coindesk to amplify the effect.
