i’m not saying we should have 2 wallet but if TFL let us down despite there promises; what would we do if we don’t have any other option. and i’m not talking about “copy paste wallet” but about the underlining infrastructures. Acording to devs, yes the wallet itself is copy paste, but the create and maintain backend infra, lcd/fcd and api is what cost the money.
The core reasonning i try to point out is as simply as “do we trust TFL to keep paying for us for a long period of time” and “do we have a back up plan if they let us down without notice”. i mean they already left us on the ground once so my trust level in tfl is not very high…

I say NO because there are things that are currently more important and they are not being transparent either, providing all the details of the steps that are going to be taken and clearly where we are moving towards.

Hi Guillaume - as strange as it may be I trust TFL more than TR.
Maybe trust is the wrong word. People and organisations are generally not trying to damage their own interest. This new Luna coin is nothing without LUNC and they know it. I can see the 100% motivation of TFL to bring LUNC success and make it their own success.
What I don’t know is whether TR can bring a similar success and I doubt it. We make this coin a TR coin without TFL development and its the end for LUNC. And should we trust TR simply because we can seemingly not trust TFL? I was pretty positive about TR until they came up with all these deceptions laid out in front of us.
So I go with utility and a possible future and give up finding somebody to trust.

TR made this proposal sound like an emergency - need to move to TR wallet or you may loose access to your funds. This is a scare tactic as nothing will happen if you don’t move. People undelegated their coins (unnecessary even if you want to move) and validators loose money and profitability.
TR states that TLF will stop support for the current Terra wallet so we all need to hurry up an move. The reality turned out to be that Terra Rebels stop supporting the Terra wallet not TFL which continues its support. Terra Rebels dropped to ball supporting it, another validator now does that volunteering job. But they try to sell us the opposite of that truth right here.
And basically the whole thing sounds like we have to do it quickly if we want to survive - quite the opposite is the case here, TR is wanting to railroad us rather than upgrading the Technology. People think how great TR is developping for us - in reality we are breaking away from all future development and saying goodby to any chance of advancing LUNC value.
That are the deceptions as I see them.

No, Infrastructure LCD is now run by verifier TerraCVita. Wallets We have Trust and other wallets to choose from. There is no detailed fee schedule. No major contributor @ek826 @zarader This is more of a “hey bro trust us” FUD for the purpose of just community pool money and I don’t believe @ek826 would be in favor of this proposal.

personally, i think the communication for this proposal could have been better but trying to see past the form and from conversation i had with different tr members. It seems to me they just gave the informations they had at this time with a proposition for a solution wich created misunderstandings. After that tfl came in and precised their position. But a the time of the agora post, it was really looking like an emergency with all the infoTR had
Wich bring us to the point where we have to answer “is it still really an emergency?”(trust TR) or “do we have some time in front of us?”(trust TFL)
i tend to trust more TR than TFL so we would probably have to agree to disagree here^^
Thanks Guillaume - I am glad to hear your perspective. Ttoo bad then that TR would not update this proposal prior to launch correcting what was a misunderstanding - despite the many people asking. And too bad for not issuing a commitment within this proposal to upgrading the core of LUNC as is needed for us to stay in business. I would have voted yes then too - but despite all community input nothing changed.

I think that separating the station from TFL is a milestone, it changes things completely - because we have our own. If we wants to build, we will have this opportunity at home and this is crucial. I can see TR’s did it without pay, for me it’s a clear signal. Build validators with me, I will provide equipment, I also have programmers, my brother ends nuclear physics at the University of Technology in Warsaw, we will cooperate, but I will do it myself if necessary. We can always, like TR, submit our project. The most important is the development of infrastructure. As far as I know ED has been working on the kernel for a long time. There have been several posts…

If everyone has a station who will pay for them. It’s good to have a backup but one cannot expect LunC to pay for systems that are built without governance. RS will be obsolete in its present form to be be compatible with interchain operability. Why waste money on this?
They are asking for pay now. What they have now is just a clone of TS.
Please submit your bid to ED’s team. The more devs the better.
Echelon has a passion for programming. The issue is that LUNC has reached the business section. Voluntary work is finished. If you build without our approval you cannot hold us accountable to pay you. If you work for the community , your bid must be sent in to be vetted and voted on.

Full agreement, I will report this project to the ED. TR has given us choice and support, I thank them for that. Will we pay as much as they propose? This is a test for the community not just for me, they have been working for a long time without pay. I believe in these projects, that’s why I’m here and will build on it. I sincerely admire Edward and his work, however, I will reiterate what I wrote earlier. Together, we can do more. Only in an atmosphere of mutual respect and dialogue will we build Our true permanent value. That dialogue and debate is what I see here and what I am most proud of. No one has it, no blockchain only LUNC !

Hey Jim Cramer of Agora, maybe cut back on the Internet time. Being a spring of toxic nonsense and blathering endlessly about nothing isn’t making you look credible.
By the comments - you obviously have an understanding that code is something magic and whatever you conjure up - it can be done, not only that, it’s surely feasible and within the budget of the community pool that you fiercely protect.
Give it a rest and come back with something fresh.
