Unfortunately doing your own research is unavoidable unless you want to just tag along with who ever screems the loudest. The problem is quite reverse, it is those who don’t feel the need to do their own research who pose the problem and provide fake characters like the Rabbi with a platform for their activities. So - right back atcha man.
In terms of the Rabbi - you can listen to the full AMA in which old TR crew discusses the invention of the Rabbi and how he is to be used in this forum. How about you go listen? I mean I can spell it out for you here but unless you actually hear it you would not believe me anyway.

I have listened to it too I see if I can dig up a link for you tomorrow unless Trex gets there first.
It’s like a 4 hour TR public session recording with a few minutes on the topic of the Rabbi. One of the Youtubers - Happy Catty something has produced a feature over it back when - if I can find that feature video it tells you which minutes of the 4 hours to listen to and it has the links. It was over getting the funds of the multi sig wallet. That’s when Rabbi was placed onto the scene trying to push those funds to TR. It was also discussed at length in the forum - this forum - in at least one of the Rabbi proposals so the links can likley be found right here too.
This community forgets very fast.

Oh but Rabbi was on Discord far before Alex Foreshaw proposed minting more LUNC to pay for repeg. Then Alex 4shaw “left” the chain (still writes mediums) and multisig became a thing.

This isn’t a secret. 
TR was the only group back then who had the manpower to work on LUNC, it was either sending the money to them or letting Alex have it via his unelected committee. You can find all the discussions here on the Agora, I dunno why you think this is some amazing smoking gun.

- Since Jay has accused the proposal and yourself of being a trojan horse etc. What would your reply be?
- Since Hcc is a YouTuber, he can use his position to influence other people - which he clearly does. Would you consider to CHALLANGE him and disprove what he said about you? To do that, would you ACCEPT @LuncBurnArmy as Project Manager (for example under a compromise prop by @fragwuerdig) to act as a safeguard for people like HCC that your team will do the job? If your team proves right - HCC should Apologise to you and all your team for basically branding it a scam.
- HCC claims you will use the funds to STALL the blockchain and take it easy while you are endlessly getting paid. What would your response be?

Funny thing is that his “unelected” committee was composed of Ed, Zaradar (full blown TR members at the time), Marventus (past TR member), PFC, Ettiene from Setten, Jack Zampolin and then they added Bruce and a couple others I can’t remember right now. It was a very plural and eclectic selection of high skilled and qualified personnel focused on chain revival and upgradez
On another note, Alex, Ed and the others never said the initiative would override governance. It was made pretty clear that the “committee” would abide to governance voting unless a reasonable concern toward a proposition was raised and accepted by the majority of the signees. And it would only pertain to the assets into multisig wallets, not chain development or CP funds.
It was your continued personal attack, twisting of words, and refurbished proposals that killed the initiative. And you are doing exactly the same now. Thanks god the community opened their eyes before it was too late.

None of that matters, they were attempting to centralize governance through the committee. You’re in the wrong space if you think a decentralized blockchain needs committees and councils. I suggest you exit crypto and return to tradfi, there’s regulations and centralization aplenty there.
Re-read Alex’s multi-sig props. Their committee would have oversight/vetting power over props.
Centralization and oversight/control in all but name. Outcome is the same. If you give humans the ability to have power over something then they will exert it, sooner or later. Justifications are irrelevant. It’s like handing someone a loaded gun and then hoping they won’t use it.
Which would then be used to fund certain proposals and initiatives that would inevitably steer the chain.
Call it whatever you want, but I’m glad I killed that prop. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
True. TGF needs to go, they’re doing the same thing Alex attempted (but failed). Only since it’s Ed steering the ship this time around, the community is buying into the premise and supporting this nonsense. But the outcome is the same - a private org and small group of people controlling the direction of $1B+… and that’s not something any of us should tolerate.
Your feel-good nonsense means nothing. Look at the LUNC price chart over the last 10 months and tell me the people in charge (Ed, Tobias, Alex, Vegas, Raider, Marco, Steve, etc.) have done a good job. Look at the plummeting price action and tell me LUNC is in a better place than it was 10 months ago. This chain is a joke, governance is a sham, validators are either technically illiterate or too lazy to read the props they vote on, the community is in shambles, and anyone who tries to fix the mess is hunted with pitchforks because to truly repair the chain means ejecting the grifters that’ve been bleeding it dry for almost a year now.
Your gods are d-e-a-d. Either accept that, or cling stubbornly to the delusion and continue losing money.

Also everything you wrote above is just my reaction to the grift and thievery going on inside this ecosystem. If there wasn’t any of that then Rabbi would be a calm and peaceful elder. But since y’all are content to support liars and thieves then Rabbi has to go nuclear all the time just to get eyes on what’s going on.
